i took a look at coolrunning.com . it quite a bit different from the other training regimen from when i started running last time. it looks a little more challenging which i think might keep me interested more. thanks you guys

I also download MotionTraxx episodes for my ipod. There are a ton of them for varying levels, training plans, etc.

I too would recommend Couch to 5K. Great beginners program.

Not sure where you are starting from, but...
A nice place to start is C25K (Couch to 5K) - google it, or find it on coolrunning.com
It is a gentle introduction, or re-introduction, to running.

i used to be an ok runner but got out of the habit of running and trying to get back to where is was . i would like train with(or compare training logs with)
