I usually have a very light breakfast before a workout. A cereal or fiber bar and a banana. Lately I've been on a smoothie kick. Then by the time I get home, it's lunch time and I usually have a hot breakfast, in lieu of lunch. High protein stuffs. Eggs, whole wheat toast, fruit, etc. I can't work out without eating at least a little something first. I get nauseous.

Dance like no one is watching,

I get up at 4:45 most mornings to walk on the treadmill before my day really gets started. I don't eat until my workout and shower are done, but usually eat within 45-60 minutes afterward. I'm wondering if this is beneficial or harmful to my weight loss. Do any of you do the same thing, and how has your weight loss been impacted? For those of you who eat before, what do you eat before a workout?
