We usually use our Plan a team walk thread (and other main threads) over and over again. If we keep adding new threads the others seem to get buried and if there is information we want to look back at it is harder to find that info because you aren't sure what thread it was on. If you look at the info beside the threads it will give you the date and time the last post was made ... if you haven't been in for a couple of days and the last post is today then you know someone had something to say since your last visit. I've gotten in the habit of coming in and checking the date and times so I know which threads have new info on them.

The biggest problem with adding new topics all the time is that those people that don't come in all the time might miss what you have to say. Each new topic is put on the list as it's posted and drops a slot every time someone comes up with a new topic.

When you have something to say that doesn't fit in any of the existing topics you can post that in a new thread.

Main threads are the ones with the stickies ... those won't drop down on the list if new topics are added. The most current post (without a stickie) in each category will be closest to the top of list.

I sure hope my explanation helps a little!

Hi gals, um...maybe I'm just to OCD but do these threads just keep building? I mean, if you're planning a NEW walk/event do you ADD it to the existing thread? I would think you'd start a new thread so someone would be more likely to see it.
Just a thought, I just feel lost. Maybe I'm just missing something. A little help? PLEASE?
