I've added another new challenge to our team ... Let's Huddle once a day!!!

The good thing about huddling every day is that it brings us to our team page so we can stay active on the team.

Every time you stop by to huddle, read a few of the team messages ... it will give you the opportunity to find out what we are doing in the area ... group walks ... Erie area events ... who needs support ... etc. Take the time to respond to something that interest you ... offer new ideas or suggestions on how to make old ideas work better!

emoticon Let's make this the best team we can! emoticon

Here are the last 3 "Great Team members" to have:

5.Listener – someone good at being an outlet when you need to vent or talk about problems
6.Informer – someone good at circulating health and fitness info, ideas and opportunities
7.The Bizarre One – someone good at finding fun, interesting and crazy ways to stay active.

Listening is a key part of any successful group program. If you think you can spend your time listening to what others have to say ... even if they aren't looking for advice then this is a good job for you.

The informer is good for someone that likes to look up information on the Internet emoticon (and other places too) and share that information with others.

And lastly ... if you like to think (and do) outside the box, emoticon then this is a good way you can help our team. You can be our "Bizarre One!!" We need that extra SPARK to keep us going!

Let's help this team grow ... stay on target ... and lose that frustrated feeling. Get involved ... offer suggestions ... take part in challenges and activities ... anything you can think of to get "Erie Sparkers" to be a winning team. emoticon

It doesn't matter if you want to lose weight, create a healthy life style for yourself or just need motivation to exercise. If you see yourself in any one of these 7 areas then we can work together for Success. emoticon

Uniforms are optional.

Every weekend in May I wanted to post twp types of team members that help make a team successful. With Mother's Day last Sunday ... and family in from out of town that just didn't happen. So ... a little late ... here are the next 2 team members we are looking for ...

3. Goal Guardian – someone good at keeping you focused on your goal and on track
4. Exercise Buddy – someone good at making workout time fun and social

Goal guardian ... every team needs someone that can keep track of goals, and help you get back on track if you have a bad day. Try to listen to other team members and offer some suggestions on ways you have found to keep focused.

Being an exercise buddy is probably the one of the most fun things you can do as a member of a team. It is so much more fun to have someone to share a walk with or exercise with.

We've been trying to form small groups of walking buddies so we can get to know each other while we are getting some very good exercise. emoticon

Here are the first 2 'Great Team Members' to have ...

1. Motivator – someone good at picking you up when you fall down and re-energizing you
2. Positive Thinker – someone good at always looking at the bright side

Anyone can be a motivator ... just be there when someone needs a little extra support. Sometimes it may be because they haven't had a good day on their diet ... or it may be that they have some personal problem or upset that has them feeling a little defeated. Take that extra step to post a comment to someone's blog ... or just stop by and say "Hello" on their Spark page.

Positive Thinker ... time to start realizing the glass is half full ... try to look and all the good things that are going on in your life (we all have them) instead of the problems we are facing (at some point we all have these too!)

If we all try to be one or both of these first two members we can start to make a big difference in our team!

Here's my first attempt at finding something interesting and motivational for our team. I decided to do something with that will help us as a group (which should help us individually too!) so we can start to grow as a team. emoticon

This Url has information to help us build a great team.

If you recognize yourself as any of the characters it takes to make a good team successful be sure help out when you can. If we all chip in and try to work together we will have great success as a team ... and in turn that will help us achieve the goals we've set for ourselves.
