Before you go any further with your exercising and dieting. Take your measurements (i.e. arm, bust, waist, hip, thigh) When you are dieting and exercising you may not loose weight but gain due to muscle mass, but you definitely will see a difference in inches. In fact today being valentines day I decide to wear a dress that I have not had on in more then a year. It use to fit so tight, but today it is loose in the chest, waist, and arm area. I have only lost 4 pounds but the loss in inches proves more to me then the actual weight loss.

Hope this helps.

P.S. as for the tools I am still learning how to use them also.

Happy Valentine Day!

I just use the quick track and enter my total minutes and what I did. I don't have time to fuss with adding each individual item. The quick track also tracks for the SparkAmerica fitness challenge.

How long have you been eating healthy and exercising? Everybody is going to be different...don't worry about the scale too much. Like you said, pay attention to your clothing. But remember, how your body looks is based 80% on nutrition....that is the key! So be sure you are eating clean. Ea5-6 small meals per day. Always have a complex carb and protein at each meal. Drink at least 8 glasses of water.....

You will get there!

Hello there! I have been utilizing so many helpful tools. Wow, I like how SP helps me keep track and in control. I have one question about the exercise log. I work out in the morning with the T.V. I watch Gilad Total Body Sculpt (the man has been around forever!)Anyway, it is 30 minutes of primarily strength training. How do I log it? I don't keep track of all the sets and reps to log each exercise, yet I don't know how to add my own exercise so it will give a full 30 minutes. Not a big deal, since I know it is 30, but I'm doing the SparkAmerica yearly goal so. . . any ideas?

Also, on another topic. When will the weight loss begin to show up on the scale? I know I am not doing enough cardio, but I am doing something daily and eating well. I am just a little, ok a lot, frustrated with not seeing results yet. I know I should be looking at clothes etc. but you know how nice it is to see the numbers decrease!

Sorry for the momentary whining! I go through these self-pitying moments. Wouldn't it be nice if the weight came off immediately1
