Thought i should post an update. Everything is going well diet wise but having to watch exercise amounts right now due to an awful pain flare and i just found out why my head and neck are nonstop pain and pressure. I have psuedotumor cerebri. I will copy past the defination for you guys.
Pseudotumor cerebri (SOO-doe-too-mur SER-uh-bry) occurs when the pressure inside your skull (intracranial pressure) increases for no obvious reason.
Symptoms mimic those of a brain tumor, but no tumor is present
When no underlying cause for the increased intracranial pressure can be discovered, pseudotumor cerebri may also be called idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
The increased intracranial pressure associated with pseudotumor cerebri can cause swelling of the optic nerve and result in vision loss. Medications often can reduce this pressure, but in some cases, surgery is necessary.
Symptoms
Pseudotumor cerebri signs and symptoms may include:
Moderate to severe headaches that may originate behind your eyes and worsen with eye movement
Ringing in the ears that pulses in time with your heartbeat (pulsatile tinnitus)
Nausea, vomiting or dizziness
Blurred or dimmed vision
Brief episodes of blindness, lasting only a few seconds and affecting one or both eyes (visual obscurations)
Difficulty seeing to the side
Double vision (diplopia)
Seeing light flashes (photopsia)
Neck, shoulder or back pain
That is from the mayo clinic site. I have every single symptom and i am very glad my Migraine specialist found out i have it. We started with prednizone and after 6 days no help with it after the 10 day course we switch to high dose lasix (oh yay) and potassium if that failed i would need a spinal tap and brain shunt so praying so hard that does NOT happen! Other than my head and my pain levels i been really good im on a new antidepressant about 6 weeks now, trintellix and its been amazing from about a week in! You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers along this journey!
