I have been good about Sparking since I joined The Spark People back in December, although, I hurt my lower back last week and took a couple of days off. Last Sunday I ran 14 miles and felt great!!!! Did some yard work outside after that, weather was perfect. Monday, had the lower back pain and rested for the week. Friday and Saturday I ran 8.5 miles and am feeling great again. I hope to start back with my weight training today but maybe I will only do 1 set so I don't hurt that back.
I try to keep on Sparking.

I'm still Sparking too!! I have lost 50 pounds in 6 months! This healthy lifestyle really works! :) We had company for 3 days last month and I was able to maintain my weight without really working at it ... just by continuing to eat healthy and being active. I'm only struggling with getting back to the Y for the weight machines since company left. I hope everyone else is still hanging in there as well and sticking to this fantastic program.

I'm still sparking, but for some reason, I don't get e-mails for Cary Sparkers, even though it is checked on my list.

Hope everyone has had a good summer so far.

Blessings,
Pat

Yeah me too, seems I'm stuck on eat mode lately. I try to make good choices but it just seems the ice cream is more appealing than the apple. And now I'm obsessed with jelly belly's! At least their fat free?!

I've been trying to stay active but that's been slipping too. I have done pilates twice this week so that a win for the week!

Oh my! Have I been on vacation or what? Sadly it hasn't been to the tropics somewhere with memories of relaxing on the sand with a mojito & my hubby. Instead it's been in the cabinet with the Keebler elves.

Thank God and God alone that I haven't gained my weight back.

I'm ready. I did 30 minutes of walking yesterday...gotta build back up to my pace & time.

Thanks Heather, for your kind words. It's exciting to be almost halfway to my goal. I'm working on increasing carbohydrates and fats in my diets ... but in a GOOD way. So I'm trying to educate myself. I love all the resources on SP.

What happened to the rest of the team? I was hoping to see more members checking in.

I know what you mean, I had tried to increase my calorie burn to 1500 a week and it took my calories up to 1330 and i had trouble getting in that in. I had to drop it back down.

Congrats on your weightloss! You doing great and you look fabulous!

I'm actually raising my exercise, both in time and intensity. My daughter and I have been checking out a bunch of classes at the Y to see what we like the most.

The step that I'm currently struggling with is raising the calories intake to match the calories burn. There's a lot to learn there and it's hard making the adjustments.

Ok team, it seems to be that time of year where fitness and healthy living seems to take a back seat to all lifes other events.

I know everyone is busy, me included, and I've become really slack with even logging in to spark people everyday. Let's try and get back on track a little bit.

What's everyone been up to, how are you staying on track, or what seems to be in your way of staying on track? Sometimes just talking about will help bring you back to your path!
