first thing today I got on my Elliptical trainer and did a 30 minute workout! Then since it was such a nice day out My DH & I went to the Veterans Memorial Park in West Jordan and walked the VitaCourse in 15 minutes!!!

Thank You, this site has actually been a lot of help once I decided to actually use it. In late august/early september I plan on climbing Lone Peak with some friends and I need to lose my few extra pounds and be in shape for it. If you dont know Lone Peak is the highest peak you see at the southern end of the salt lake valley. In just the month I have been really using this site I have gotten a lot better.

Instead of having a candy bar, or sugary runts -- I am having apple flavored licorice. It doesn't have any fat and the sugar is actually pretty low. It matters where you buy it though. I got mine at Sportsmans Warehouse and it is a great pick me up! Only four pieces though! :)

I haven't done anything since mon. Been really sick! (1st time in years!) but hit me like a emoticon !! Today was my 1st day outdoors, and sunshine emoticon is just something special!! Be back to working out on monday! emoticon It will be like starting all over! I have added the jump rope emoticon , will be glad to get back to a routine!

I just did Podrunner Intervals Week 1 at 6mph as opposed to 4.5 mph. I'm hoping to get my endurance up that way. :D

I planned my meals this week and ate them! I enjoyed 3 light meals with 3 snacks everyday . . . it keeps me satisfied and my blood glucose levels stay within the normal boundaries. Yahoo!!

I got myself a new gym membership and have also found an awesome personal trainer.

This guy has his own studio, so you work one on one without a whole bunch of people around. Very affordable and fits in with my schedule great.

I joined 24 Hour in West Jordan (Jordan Landing), I love this place. Used to go to Ballys (what a mess) till they closed up. This 24 Hour has all new equipment, is clean, and well run.

If anyone wants a great trainer, just drop me an email and I will get you his info.

That's great! My gym is across the street and in the summer I'll walk over there but in this weather I drive and feel like a lazy bum lol. But now that I've got the treadmill at home that sits in my room and I have to look at and feel guilty if I'm not using it I've been on it everyday. Today I weighed in and I'm only 3 lbs away from my February goal! I'm so excited and motivated to be good the rest of the week. Wednesday's are always a tempting day to break my good habits so I think weighing in on Wednesdays is a good thing.

I am walking on my treadmill for 45 minutes everyday. And this weekend I got my hair cut too and a new pair of jeans that are a size 12! I was so excited, I feel sexy LOL!! I want to be in the single digits but just giving away my size 18 jeans to charity felt so good!!!
