I wouldn't be much use to you because I walk about a 20 minute mile. :( but
I will make this a sticky topic.
Making a spark page and putting the photos of people participating and
Making a blog for this might also help.
If there is any way I can be of assistance, please ask, I will put it out there to others in the area if I am not able to help.

Another Idea is check in with the Rocklin and other teams in the area.

Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things:... Psalm 98

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though... we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day my day....So fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal

Girls on the Run of Sutter County (Yuba City) is looking for buddies to run/walk with young girls to support and encourage them through a 5K. They are participating in Shady Creek Foundations 5K on May 6th, 2012. Please let me know if you'd be interested in supporting this wonderful event while staying active!

We match buddies with like abilities - some girls run an 11-minute mile, some walk a 15-minute mile.

Too many times we stand aside and let the waters slip away 'til what we put off 'til tomorrow has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline and say you're satisfied
choose to chance the rapids and dare to dance the tide...
