well it works!!! I've now lost another 3 lbs!!!! :) Thanks so much for the support! I really needed it! :)

I would suggest trying some different foods and/or different exercises. Do you eat about the same thing day in and day out? Try switching things up. Also, do you get in at least 2 lowfat dairy servings every day? I find if I get 2-3 lowfat dairy servings in each day I usually lose more. Also, drinking enough water every day is another big one. Hope this helps! I think it is normal to plateau though so just keep going, if you keep doing what you should be doing you will bust through it eventually. Congrats on 70 lbs though!! That has to feel good. :)

Hey there!

I hope that this following information doesn't sound too obvious, but you never know.

Make sure that you have entered your current weight and current activity level into the SparkPeople Trackers. I noticed that as I was losing weight, they were giving me drastically different amounts of calories to eat.

Another thing to do would probably be to drastically change the type of exercising you are doing. Sometimes your body just needs a nice healthy shock to get things moving again!

Okay. I started a 1200 calorie diet January 1st of 09. In the time since then, I have lost 70 lbs. But as of the last few weeks...... HELP!!!!! How or WHY is it possible that I have stopped losing... and actually GAINED 2 pounds? I am still eating 1200 calories a day, and I work on my feet. Any type of ideas for me? Words of wisdom? I'm getting very aggravated..........Thanks!
