Even if you see the belly when you look down.. the biggest change is that you're making a change and sticking to it.. Everyone wears their weight differently, it won't all fall off overnight.. though I think it would be great if it did..

your son could be a great motivator, knowing that every time you choose water over pop, a veggie over greasy food, you're prolonging your time with him..

you are doing awesome.. keep it up! and if you fall off again, SP will still be here when you come back.. :D

you can do anything you put your mind to! if you wanna lose that much weight it averages out to about 11 pounds a month so i definitly say its possible. Just set little goals month to month! emoticon

I'm not that new to spark people, I joined back in January and after losing about 20 pounds I fell off the wagon. I didn't fall too hard, I managed to pick it back up this past monday. I've been hitting the workouts hard and have lost 5 lbs as of yesterday(I started out at 278 and I'm now 250!). I have cut back on portions and upped the veggie portions. I feel like I'm doing better I'll look down at my belly and feel like I just going to be a fat person all of my life. I want to get out of the 200s and I'd like to do that by my sons second b-day in late Oct. I really want to be as close as I can to my goal before I hit 30 next year in Feb. I want to spend my 30s enjoying life and not worrying rather I look bad in a picture or if I'm going to look good in a bathing suit that summer. I am 5'5 with an average build. I want to weigh 145 (I'd love to weigh 120, but I don't know if that's possible, I think each boob weighs 15 lbs lol) is 145 a reasonable goal by Feb with me at 250 now?
