I've been trying to drink water lately when I get a craving. It helps, and I've also noticed that I'm not as hungry when I drink water regularly.

The really good tasting sugar free gums have become a life saver for me! My particular favorite brand is Extra Fruit Sensations, all flavors. I realized that it's psychological. When your mouth goes thru those chewing motions, it seems to satisfy the mind, and the really good taste in the gum satisfies the taste buds. The gum is so good, I feel like I'm cheating!

Working torward a happier me!

I heard that anyone who used to snack while watching tv at night should stop. You will eventually get used to not getting the munchies while you watch tv if you don't snack during your favorite programs! :) I'm finding that difficult, but i'm working through it.
Also, i find that drinking water with some raspberry crystal lite makes me feel full while watching tv at night. Not only am i drinking more water..but it's only 5 cal and it tastes great. I was one of those ppl who thought crystal lite would suck! I don't eat/drink anything that doesn't taste good. It really does taste great, and it seems to curb my appetite :) hope it helps!

I started going to the gym a couple of weeks ago with my friend. She can bring someone with her to the gym once a week (and now another one of her coworkers is coming with us so free gym membership twice a week! hehe) but she doesn't get off work until 6pm. I find that 6-8pm is my prime snacking time so by going to the gym with her I burn calories rather than add them! ^_^ Any other snack curbing tricks? :)
