Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm just starting this weight loss journey, and having 100 + pounds to lose, its overwhelming. But we "ALL" can and "WILL" lose the weight emoticon . I feel so blessed that I found such an amazing resource.

Hello All,

I know everyone can always use some words of encouragement so I am going to give some.

We are in our 20's and we have a lot of weight to lose. This means two things, one we are young and can do it easier than if we wait, and two we have time.

You can do it! I know it is hard sometimes, I know it is easy to be discouraged but just think, at our age we have a long and healthy life to live. We have a lifetime left of interacting with people and we want those people to look at us and think "wow that person is hot/beautiful/sexy/attractive", not to mention the fact that we want to be judged by who we are first, not by how much we weigh.

Think about being able to go shopping and get those clothes that we want but do not seem to come in our size, not to mention our price range.

Think about being able to play with children/friends/loved ones whether it be nothing more than going for a walk without pain and dread or it be a pick up game.

Think about being able to wear a bathing suit on the beach and do so comfortably and confidently.

Think about being able to look into the mirror and loving what you see!

If there is one thing I know, it is that you are all already well on your way to this healthy lifestyle. By being here, by making the commitment you are one step closer to being successful. You will be tempted but you can do it! You will want to quit but never give up on yourself!

Take it all one day at a time and it seems much more manageable. Take it one meal at a time and it will be easy as low fat pie (haha).

Okay team, here is to the rest of your lives, and here is to having "less and less" of us everyday! You can do it! You are strong! You are wonderful people! Let's do it!

One step, one sip, one choice, one pound at a time will change my life.
