Try changing your train of thought. Stop thinking of Monday as the beginning of your weight loss week and instead make it Friday. For me I make my marks on Mondays (weigh ins, new strategies, new food menus, things like that). If you do something similar to me, change the day. Instead of weighing in and "starting over" like I do on Mondays, do it on Fridays. That way Fridays is when you'll be all psyched and pumped up about weight loss and you'll have a better more productive, probably even more active weekend. Then when those last few days of your "weight loss week" roll around, it wont be as bad because they'll end up being regular weekdays and you wont have all the temptations that come with the weekends... just a thought.

I catch myself thinking "I can relax" when Friday hits. It goes downhill from there. It is a struggle, but you have to change your mindset. Friday is NOT a day to relax...neither is Saturday or Sunday. This is not a diet program, this is a change of life. After years of negative reinforcement, it is time for us to put ourselves first. This is for life...but remember that you are not alone. You have our support. emoticon

I start each monday, doing so well, exercising, eating great, but Friday night comes along, and boom, I'm off the band wagon. Any ideas to help me stay on track?
