I have an over all goal, but also have mini goals along the way.
I have my 100 pound loss goal next. After that it will be Onederland & the losing of my baby weight after 19 years. Lol after that I think 5% goals will be on my ticket. They seem more possible then the over all mission.
There are other things along the way I will celebrate. Like putting on shoes/socks with no strain. Going up n down stairs normally all the time- currently I sometimes crawl or use wall to balance on. Looking forward to more gap between legs. They are largest problem for me. If they gap, I know they shrinking :)

I have set goals for myself by thinking of 10% at a time. My time line doesn't show my entire weight that I'd like to lose. It's just what I'm working on right now. It makes it easier for me to visualize.
My goals are: *to drink more water (cutting out pop)
*continue learning Zumba. I'm doing a 45 minute dvd 4-6 days per week. I emoticon it!
*pack my breakfast and lunch for work
*cook meals from the family
*eat lots of fruits/veggies.
*track my food on the tracker
*use my fitbit everyday
*start riding my bike in the subdivision

Good luck with your goals!

I do better with smaller goals and a reward. I like to reward myself every 20 pounds. I have thought of changing it for actions but so far have not.

My summer goals are to ride my exercise bike 10 miles a day 5 x per week.. I count Caribs and eat about 10 vegetable servings daily. I will also swim with my kiddos..

I will succeed by living each day with strength and intention.

My long term goal is to lose at least 25 more pounds by the end of this year
...lose at least 10 by end of August
...lose at least 8 by end of October
...lose another 7 by end of December

I will accomplish this by...

Diet
...Very restricted added sugar to foods
...Moderate foods with natural sugars
...Complex carbs
...Protein
...veggies
...Consume smaller meals more frequently

Activity
...Increase walking and ADL now
...Join a gym by end of September
...Weight Watcher's at least monthly but preferably bi-weekly
...Stay active on Spark--especially the challenges
...Remove progress and adjust plan and activities as needed

Mini goals because looking at my big goal seems overwhelming. Losing weight when I have so much to lose. So I have decided to take steps on healthy eating. Cut back on sugar.

I have been working too much to be able to exercise on a regular basis for now.

Lee

One step in front of the other will take me where I'm trying to go. It's just a matter of time.

Live life with no regrets, means think before doing for me.

I have mini-goals myself. My first weight/size related one is that I'd like to get to a size 16 by September (end of, not the first day) and I feel I can probably get there if I step it up a little since I've plateaued (plus, cookies.)
Other mini-goals are to get to a weight where "2" isn't the first number and to get down to a size 10/12 by next September (2015.)
As for diet related goals, I'm trying to eliminate oil from our food as much as possible and focus on cooking nearly all the food we eat, and not rely on take out or any "convenience" foods.
For fitness, my first goal is consistency. I've been struggling with getting bag into a regular routine since last month. Another fitness goal is to incorporate more yoga into my fitness.
What are your goals?

Exercise is my Prozac.
