Unfortunately...we only get a few hours a week. We are at a difficult time in life. Making the best of our time together, but always wishing we had more. Grateful for our few camping trips each summer!

My beloved MrV & I are in the favorable position of being able to spend pretty much 24/7 together. That is a good thing because, as I shared as a comment on a SP Friend's blog a few days ago, he is a most delightful person & one I would choose as a best friend whether we shared the covenant of marriage or not. I really do like & admire him and I appreciate his compassionate, giving, considerate, chivalrous, honorable, courteous, soft-spoken, fun-loving, accommodating, gentle, diligent, etc. self. He is a cheerful & agreeable companion and a loving & attentive husband & father; as well as very congenial to all those he touches lives with. I can truthfully said that in the forty-eight years I have known him (forty-seven of those years I've enjoyed being what he terms his "chosen bride"), I have never known anyone to not cotton to him immediately & end up admiring him for the warmhearted & godly man of integrity he is. Just being around him makes me want to be a better person!

We enjoy a lot of the same past times; however, there are some hobbies or past times one enjoys while the other does not have much interest in whatever - in that case we are still sharing the minutes of our lives together. An example of which is when my cherished MrV works with his baseball card collection or when he wants to watch the Red Sox games - I may read or work on catching up on correspondences, work on one of my puzzles or craft projects, while we are together in the family room. I am continually praising & thanking the good Lord for allowing us to have originally touched lives, to have grown in love & now to continue sharing our days on planet Earth as husband & wife.

God bless!

Something to know about this gal "Ima" - I follow the Savior of the world!

I stand in awe of the salvation, through Christ Jesus, that Creator God has granted me. May you enjoy the same!

I am so very thankful that the door of access is permanently open to The Creator & His beloved Son, Christ Jesus!

We spend as much time together as possible.

His desire, and need, to spend time doing things other than work, as well as work itself (he works 12-14 hour days most days), gets in the way sometimes, but other than that ...

What if we woke up tomorrow with only those things that we thanked God for today?

We spend a lot of time together. After 16 years of marriage we still enjoy just talking to each other.

Lord help me remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I can't handle together.

How much quality time do you spend with your spouse each day? Where could you find more time? What gets in the way of making that change?
