How nice!

What if we woke up tomorrow with only those things that we thanked God for today?

Celebrate my spouse--today I made him a warm bath with the warm towels, warm bath robe & candle light.

What a neat idea!

I bought a package to make Creme Brulee for my dh the other day. I saw it at the store, and thought of him because we were just in Paris, and for dinner one evening, he ordered it for dessert. Well, we were late to meet back with our tour group, so he never ended up getting it. I decided to make it for him as a surprise treat. I'm sure it won't be as good as one from scratch from France, but the thought was there. I was going to make it today, but it needs cream, and I don't have any in the house. Tomorrow, I will buy some and make it for his dinner dessert.

Then, I can celebrate my spouse!

Did You Celebrate Being Married to Your Spouse Today

We celebrate so many things, but do we celebrate who the person is that we married? How many people say, "I've been married to my spouse for XX years and I don't think he/she finds me attractive any more, or, we take each other for granted." Do you feel that if we celebrated who our spouse is, this might make our marriage stronger and more loving?

I do not mean anything elaborate, just a simple act of saying "I appreciate & love you." For example, making your spouse's favorite dessert with a note that says, "I so so glad I am married to you", or a surprise date to the movies because he/she is your spouse and you want she/he to know you love them, or making them a special bath with mineral salts and candle light in the bathroom, a glass of wine and heated towels. Telling your spouse that you love him/her.

Do you think we get so busy that some of us, not all of us, forget these little acts are really big acts of love.

Please share your answer. (Remember, it is you opinion, not mine, so you will not be right or wrong. I will respect whatever you say, as well as appreciate whatever you say.)
