I have not nursed in about 2.5 years now, but I think I had about 1800-2000 calories while nursing. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. You will know if the changes you are making are too drastic. Also, have you ever made lactation cookies?

ROLL TIDE!
One day or day one. You decide.

You don't need another human being to make your life complete, but let's be honest. Having your wounds kissed by someone who doesn't see them as disasters in your soul but cracks to put their love into is the most calming thing in this world.

I'm so ready to lose weight. I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but that is still not a healthy weight. My baby is 6 months now and I am ready to do this. Truth be told, I am anxious about dieting and decreasing my milk supply. I set my calorie range to 1600-1800. What are others here doing? I must admit that I never did the dieting thing while breastfeeding right with my first two kids; with kid number three now I am determined to not fall victim again to my fears. Any and all encouragement and advice is welcome.
