Good luck to you. I am a full time pumping working mom. My baby turns 1 next month though, so I'm almost to my goal of pumping until his 1st birthday. I have a huge freezer stash so I'm going to keep him on a mix of mommy and cow milk after he turns 1. I also donated some of it to a milk bank. I don't hate my job, but I don't really like it either. It's really just the place I go to work for seven days, then I don't have to think about it when I'm off for seven days.

Is it wrong to fight time, to turn it back or push it forward? Time was never mine.

I'm sorry to hear you no longer enjoy your job! It's especially difficult when you have to leave the smiling little ones at home. I hope things get better for you.

This is my first week back, too! What's hardest for me is I no longer enjoy my job (started a few months before the baby arrived), so I commend your great attitude! Keep it up! emoticon

You've got to say, I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough I can have it. It's called perseverance.

Good for you! I've been back twice as long as I was out and I have a job that allows me to pump as needed (as I sit here pumping and typing) and is fairly supportive of me as a working mom. But it wasn't easy, and I will say this - every day does get easier. Congrats on your first week back.

I'm looking forward to retiring the pump in the next month - I'm down to 1x/day, we're using the freezer stash, and then starting cows milk...

You have a great attitude! Keep it up! I remember clearly how hard of a time that was. You can do it!

Happy Monday!

This morning was tough, it was my first day back to work. I'm trying to change my attitude and be positive about things.

* I know my children are in good hands
* I brought healthy snacks so going back to work didn't trigger unhealthy stress eating
* I have a wonderful job that has no problem with me taking breaks to pump.

It was a pretty successful day. I am so lucky to work for a great company that is very supportive of breastfeeding and my pumping schedule. I wish all companies were this supportive. I wonder how we can encourage jobs to see the incredible benefits of supporting breastfeeding.

I'm going to keep a positive attitude all week. Keeping the stress down and the eating under control are my goals this week.
