Congrats Lissa and keep up the great work. I'm trying to bike as much as I can this summer. I find it's easier on my knees than walking.

I've been out or a couple years, but i'm back!!

I still have a lot of work to do but i went from size 26 jeans to 22. some 20's fit.
i walk a lot, I try to get at least an extra mile or two in throughout my day.

Evening Everyone! I'm actually remodeling a house that we are renting. We hope to stay here for the rest of our lives. Got a lot of work to do so I'm sure I will be losing a lot of fat. I also have a goal of walking in a marathon at different stages. Of course I want to do the Breast Cancer walk in Dallas Texas when I get close to my goal weight.

Good morning team mates!! Hope everyone is doing well! I have started Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone and am seeing some great results!! You can find her walks anywhere, I own a dozen or so but I find them on YouTube as I like to mix it up!

What are you doing to get active??

Sounds like everyone is making great progress!! I am making a few changes as my loss has stalled. My clothes are smaller so that is a good sign but I want the weight to leave me forever!!

I'm trying to get things off to a good start. Drinking enough water to float a pontoon boat, it seems. Slow and steady I slosh along.

I had eggs and cheese this morning instead of a donut. I'm pleased about that.

Hi everyone! I fell of the wagon for a bit but came right back on. I lost 13 pounds and have been eating much better. I accomplished two days so far of walking for forty minutes. Hope everyone else is having a good day!

It's a new month, anyone have any new goals for February? How did you do for January??

I am going to walk more and drink more water on the weekends. I don't have any problems meeting my goals during the week but I am so busy on the weekends I forget and end up gaining on the weekends because I am not getting enough water in!

I follow Hungry Girl on FB. She really has great recipes! I ordered the new book from Amazon for $15 with free shipping.

Congrats on the exercising! I am 2 lbs away from the 40 pound mark! I am so excited!!

I have not tried any of her stuff-probably because I haven't heard of any of it. LOL! This is a busy, crazy week already, but I am back to exercising and accepted the position of Head Girls Track Coach at my school! I haven't told hubby yet. emoticon He was looking forward to having me back after soccer season ended yesterday emoticon

How is everyone doing this week?? I bought the new Hungry Girl cookbook -- I love her ideas and she has some fabulous recipes. I saw the new magazine but haven't bought it yet. Has anyone tried her recipes?? I tried the sweet potato, squash and kale recipe. It was DELISH!

My plan for a successful 2018 is to be 1% better than yesterday and do 1% more than I did yesterday. Today that means doing 50 steps more than I did yesterday. Tomorrow it will mean doing 1% more reps of strength training than I did today, which basically works out to being one extra rep per set.

If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?

Patti, for Floridians, that is COLD WEATHER! Yikes. We are suppose to be in the 50's tomorrow in Southern Illinois -- go figure!

I haven't had a moment to check out those videos, but it is on my list!

Woke up to find out more pounds had left me -- forever this time around! I want to be in ONERLAND by the end of the year. I am determined to do it and make it stick!! I can and WILL do this!!

Oh wow! We don't go back til Monday. Our temps here are 35 with a feels like of 32. It sounds wram, but for us Florida folks who don't have winter woolies, it's cold! Yes, the videos are available through youtube, but there are many here too. I hear you with the hectic schedule! I have my finger in so many pots that I often don't know if I'm coming or going! I often do both at the same time! LOL! here's to a terrific year ahead!

Patti -- thank you, I will check into weight training. The videos sound interesting! Are they on Youtube you think?? My work schedule is crazy so I am trying to get a schedule down that works for me.

Trying to stay warm. First day of school here from Christmas break and we have -2 with a wind chill too cold to mention! Is it spring yet??????

Take a look at weight training of some form. Musvle naturally burns more calories and makes it easier to do a lot of things.There are lots of videos here. I also like the 12 week ideal shape up. I don't do their drinks or most if their tracking, BUT the video exercise series really works. I am starting it again today. I just need to remember to modify and not go all out. I was so sore for weeks as we hit different muscle groups and I gave 110%. I will take it easy and do what I can do :) Yes, we can and will do this!

What plans are you making for a successful 2018?

I am working on a exercise plan that is reasonable and realistic for me. I need to add exercise to my daily routine to help the weight leave me for good!! I have always loved Walk Away the Pounds but want to add something else. I am also thinking about Yoga.

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year's celebration. Now let's get to work!! We can and will do this!!
