Making excuses...... why its ok it eat late... not exercise.... have chocolate.... its just a small snack size bag of chips (that I washed down with a can of pop).... etc

I will do really great for a few weeks in one area and then BAM! I fall off the wagon. At least I keep getting back up ;) Some day I will learn how to hang on when life tries to shake me off the wagon

#1. After dinner snacking.
#2. Actually doing scheduled workouts, or at least the full work out. I'm lucky if I make it to the place it was planned, and luckier still if I actually do the sets, each of the reps, or even burn the remaining calories needed to make deficit.

I broke the soda pop, broke the caffeine, broke smoking cigarettes, broke eating sugary pastries.... But late night snacking, or binging even, is a toughie. I watch TV or even when I'm playing a computer game, I get physically hungry beyond my range. I've tried making smarter choices, filling up on low calorie high fiber food during meals, or making smart snack selections... but at night I CRAVE the carbohydrates like popcorn or a grilled cheese....

watching TV is worse cause I get mentally/emotionally bored/hungry, and all those stupid late night TV commercials..... LOL

Don't kill them, don't get rid of them, JUST FIX THEM.

There are so many habits I have broken and still need to work on, Most the changes have been since Sept. Eating breakfast, I now eat within an hour of getting up, No more sugar in my tea, Have had one cigarette since Dec. 28th and that one was about two weeks ago, Still trying to get in 5 fruits and veggies on a daily basis but I am keeping my body hydrated on a daily basis now.Old habits die hard and new ones are slow to become a daily habit. One day at a time and it will happen.

One day at a time, One step at time. Those days and steps add up and before you know it you have reached your goal.

For me, one of the hardest bad habits to break so far has been eating breakfast. I am just not a hungry person in the morning. I wake up around 6:30 am but I don't really eat until about 11. I nurse two or three cups of half-caffinated coffee (hot, warm, cold - it's all fine to me) during that time and the thought of eating food can sometimes actually be nauseating. It's a struggle, and most days I lose at it, but I'm really trying to make an effort to eat something for breakfast.

Fast Food! I don't cook (i'm learning) and usually wait until i'm starving to eat so I would hit up a fast food joint and of course make the worst selection. Good news I have not been to any for the year. I started having more home cooked meals ( they still need to be healthier but it's a start) and try to eat every three hours so I'm never starving.

NOSCHLOCK11, It has been over a year since I last had pop. It was easier than I thought it would be. I am glad that you are on your way to doing the same. Congrats

I've been having an issue with sweet dry fruits - dates and figs. Also potatoes crisps :( How do you keep yourself from over-indulging in your fav snacks and food?

I've had to break so many bad habits that it's hard to pick just one. But one of the biggies for me was waking up in the middle of the night and eating.

Not keeping any quick and easy junk food in the house has helped me a lot to conquer mid-night eating.

I have a soda problem, or had. Also, I have the issue of wanting something sweet after dinner. I am also using Crystal Light as my sweet treat. I am trying to eat fruit as a treat, too.

NEVER. GIVE. UP.
I CAN DO IT! I MUST!

I have to shout I AM SODA FREE lol this has been one of my biggest downfalls and this is officially day 4 with no soda pop. I can't believe how much easier it was to replace it with water and I added drink flavor (like Crystal light type) and it made it so much easier, now Im getting my water intake with only 10 xtra calories instead of getting no H2O and 1000 calories....has anyone else had problems with soda pop?
