Very sorry for all that you and your hubby have been going through, but I am happy that you will be staying and also to know that you and hubs are going to try and work things out. Marriage is a LOT of work, but for me I believe it is SO worth all the work and effort, just like it's worth all the work and effort to stick in the game of making lifestyle changes. And I also agree, ONCE AN ARMY WIFE ALWAYS AN ARMY WIFE!

Well I just joined this group, but after my husband and I have been together for over 8 years...two children and NOW he joined the army it's been difficult to wonder "how is the marriage gonna hold up" I hear lots of things and I cannot imagine how THIS much stress effects the relationship.

So for as much as it means from a perfectly good stranger...I appreicate you sharing your life and the struggles that you are going through, because in one way or another...we all are or will be going through similar issues.

And I agree with the post that were up prior...once an army wife ...always an army wife..you've done your time. lol

Becky

Well.....Once my "husband" got help with his ptsd at UBH in Texas....He has wanted to work things out. We are trying to work things out. We don't live together right now. He is still in Ft.Riley in the WTU. They might be sending him back to Texas for his PTSD and maybe help with his TBI. Said I would keep everyone updated.....We are working things out!! We have been married a little over eight years....Working on our 9th year!! Back on Sparkspeople.......I need to get this weight off I gained.

OK, I already gave my view as a reply to your email, but I'll say it again here. You have every right to stay. You have 8 years of experience and knowledge to share with those who may not know. Also, at the end of the day SP is about weightloss support and not marital status. There are people on here who are aunts, uncles, cousins, girlfriends, gay lovers (relax folks it's a joke lol) so there's no reason to leave. Girl stay! Take a seat bring some protein shakes! emoticon

I'm so sorry that you've been having such a difficult time - it sounds as though now, more than ever, you need people around you and supporting you, so of course you should stay.

pm me any time, if you want to talk/or just someone to listen.

Good Luck xoxo

Once a military wife, ALWAYS a military wife. You've been through it all just like the rest of us and have EARNED your place in this group, regardless of your current relationship status.

from what i heard someone else say before, once an army wife, always an army wife...
you've paid your dues, and earned your right to stay.

Never look back, unless you plan on going that way.

It's a new day.
