Oh my gosh, you guys are making me miss home! We own a house in Waynesville {sigh}.
Anyway, El Jimador is pretty good, but I also really liked El Sombrero and the steak at Aussie Jacks is pretty decent. There really isn't a whole lot to do unless you're outdoorsy. We had fun fishing on the Roubidoux and exploring some of the caves. Most people just kind of hang out at Wal-Mart :-)

Hi! We just left Fort Wood in February but I can tell you if you like Mexican, the best restaurant would be El Jimador. It's right on Missouri Avenue going towards the front gate of post. There is not much to do there. It's a crowded town with not a whole lot to offer unfortunately. That is the only recommendation I would have for you. Sorry.

If you do not change what you're doing today, your tomorrow will be no different than yesterday.
