Zone 5: The Living Room
Zone 5 is the living room, family room, or den. But, only focus on one this week. After a few months, you will have them decluttered them all and the detailed cleaning will be a breeze.

Flybabies: Your task is to declutter this area. Spend 15 minutes a day this week doing something, anything, in this room. It did not get dirty in a week and it will not get clean in a week, but you will be making head-way. It is a trend! Get in the habit of decluttering in small segments of time. Decide what time of day you are going to tackle this little job, set a timer for 15 minutes, and just do it.

If Zone 5 is already decluttered: (that means no more clutter ó only the things you use and love!) Go on to the detailed cleaning list. You will be amazed at how easy it is to enjoy this room with family and friends when the clutter is gone!

Fly Spot
Welcome to Zone 5- The Living Room. We spend so much time ďlivingĒ in this room that itís easy to see how it gets cluttered and full of hot spots. Todayís Fly Spot is to find your biggest hot spot and put it out ASAP! Is it your coffee table? The magazine rack beside your favorite chair? The books in your bookcase? Whatever it is, go put that fire out. Set your timer for 15 minutes and get to it. Youíll feel more relaxed and comfortable when the BIG hot spot is gone.

Zone 4: The Master Bedroom

This week we are working on Zone 4: The Master Bedroom. It also includes any bathroom you may have off the master bedroom, and whatever lurks in the bedroom closet. This will be an ongoing process. You may or may not get the entire room cleaned this week. That is not the objective. Any thing you do in this room now will be an improvement over the way it was last week. Next month you will focus on it again.

Your bedroom should be the cleanest room in your home. Many of you still use yours as a garbage/clutter disposal for the rest of the house. If your bedroom is clean and clutter free, then it becomes an inviting haven for building your relationship with your spouse. The best gift you can give your children is a strong marriage. This is true whether your children are 2 or 40 years old.

FlyBabies: Your task is to declutter this area. Spend 15 minutes a day this week doing something, anything, in the master bedroom. It did not get dirty in a week and it will not get clean in a week, but you will be making head-way. It is a trend! Get in the habit of decluttering in small segments of time. Decide what time of day you are going to tackle this little job, set a timer for 15 minutes, and just do it.

If Zone 4 is already decluttered: (that means no more clutter Ė only the things you use and love!) Go on to the detailed cleaning list. You will be amazed at how easy it is to relax and sleep in this room when the clutter is gone!

Go to the launch pad to see your missions for the week!

FLY Spot
Welcome to Zone 4- The Master Bedroom. Our Fly Spot today will actually help you sleep better! Itís been proven that sleeping with clutter under your bed actually impedes your sleeping and causes you to sleep worse and feel less rested and ready to go in the mornings. So, itís time to clean out underneath those beds. Set your timer for 15 minutes and get out as much as you can. Get rid of the bottles, wrappers, clothes, shoes, and dust bunnies that have collected under there. Set your timer for 15 minutes and get out as much as you can. You will rest better tonight and thank me in the morning!

Zone 3: Bathroom and an Extra Room

This week we are focusing on the main bathroom and one extra room. The extra room may be a second, or third bathroom, a guest bedroom, a childís bedroom, the office, or maybe the laundry room. Just pick one extra room and focus on it this week.

The bathroom: Do you live in fear that someone will actually see your bathroom? It is too easy to close our eyes to the mess that is hiding right behind the bathroom door. This week, we are going to open that door to the bathroom, and BabyStep, by BabyStep, we are going to conquer the CHAOS that is the main bathroom!

Your bathroom should give you sense of relaxation and joy when you enter. This is a place for you to pamper and take care of yourself. Treat the room with love and respect and it will bless you with comfort and peace.

FlyBabies: Remove the obvious clutter, take out the dirty laundry, and empty the garbage can.

If your bathroom is clean but still cluttered: Start decluttering (makeup, old towels, old medicine, hair supplies, shampoos, etc.). Check out our daily missions. FlyLady usually sends out one during the week which concentrates on decluttering one small area of your bathroom.

If your bathroom is decluttered: (that means no more clutter ó only the things you use and love) Go onto the detailed cleaning list. You will be amazed at how wonderful a 20-minute mini-vacation in a hot bath (complete with candles and bubbles) will feel when the CHAOS is gone from the bathroom. Enjoy!

Donít forget to add the bathroom to your daily routines. A couple of minutes focusing on the bathroom each day will make a huge difference!
FLY Spot

Welcome to Zone 3, The Main Bathroom! With so much time spent in this room, itís easy to see how things get messy and cluttered quickly! Our Fly Spot today is to declutter our tub and shower products. You know the ones Iím talking aboutÖ the little slivers of soap stuck to your soap dish, the half empty shampoo bottles, the stinky bubble bath you will never use, etc. If you donít love it and donít use it, itís time to evict it! Make some room for things you do love. With things cleared out, youíll be able to see what you need and what you want!

Zone 2: The Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of our home.

FlyBabies: Focus on one little part ó reclaim your kitchen sink. Empty everything out of your sink, shine it up, fill it with hot soapy water, and start washing dishes, one at a time.

Do a 27-Fling ďTrashĒ Boogie. Trash is clutter. When the bag is full, take it outside, right away, to the trash bin.
Clear out your mail hotspot. Get rid of the old magazines, catalogs, and advertisments.
Clear the clutter off your counters one at a time.
Clear the clutter off your kitchen table.
Take a peek at your pantry. Donít pull everything out and start reorganizing; just take a look, see what you need, and start a grocery list.

If your kitchen is clean but still cluttered: start decluttering. Check out our daily missions. FlyLady usually sends out one during the week which concentrates on decluttering one small area of your kitchen.

If your kitchen is decluttered: (that means no more clutter ó only the things you use and love) Start the detailed cleaning list. You will be amazed at how quickly the shiny sparkle from the kitchen sink spreads throughout the entire kitchen when the clutter is gone!
FLY Spot

Welcome to Zone 2- The Kitchen. How often have you started cooking a nice dinner for your family only to realize you donít have exactly what you need to be able to prepare your meal? From simple things like a sauce pan to the less common things such as a garlic press, itís easy to miss some of the important kitchen tools we need. Our Fly Spot today is to take a quick glance through our cabinets and drawers and see what tools you are missing. Spend just a few minutes and make a wish list of the things you want/need! Have fun with this one!
