i read. if i am unlucky, i get caught up in the book and then there is insomnia, but most nights just a few paragraphs or pages before my eyes won't stay open. occasionally, a hot bath first.

I used to reward myself along the way, but with all the wrong JUNK, and I ended up in trouble each and every time, so I quit doing that. At this point in my journey, "Reaching my goal is a reward in itself!"

I will start exercising outdoors more now that it's cooler out. Although I have been swimming mini laps (because of pool size) all summer and using my pool weights. But it is the last couple of weeks for pool season here in MI and pool days are hit & miss emoticon . With the cooler weather, I have started walking outside more.

Not applicable because I exercise indoors. This is not by choice, but a necessity of being put in a wheelchair. So, ALL exercising even when I wander the halls at the VA Hospitals, I am pushing my wheelchair with my entire body weight in the chair. I am also able to get on my Gazelle, but that's about it, and sprinkled in the midst of this are chair exercises.
