I considerably raised my number of daily steps. Almost every month this year was better than the same month of 2014. And I met my goal of walking 2,015 miles in 2015.

I log into Spark People and at this time I will have to make a new start. My time has been so limited that I do some of the things but not the intensity that I need and have not been tracking. That is one of my goals for tomorrow to get back on track. I was doing so good then got overwhelmed with things that had to get done and did not match the intensity that I need.

More than one of the above.

I log into Spark and chat with friends I've made here, I talk to friends and family. But the biggest thing I do is get up and do 5 or 10 minutes. One rep of an exercise. One bite of a vegetable. One saying "no" to a temptation.

Even if I don't do more, I've done something and often I'm willing to do a bit more.

I set aside 2 hours every morning just for myself. I exercise every morning and spend time either reading for enjoyment or just snuggling with the cat if he wants. Keeps me calm and focused.

This year is all about me and my quest to unload this extra person I have been hauling around.

There are some days I can set aside time for myself but right now, work schedules, watching grands, and the holidays means not a lot of time for me. Hopefully will figure out a better schedule, but my children have lost their sitter and I'm the "back up" grandma.

I oscillate between "I have at least an hour per day that I can dedicate to my health and weight loss"and "I have stress in my life, but can set aside 30 minutes most days for myself". Right now I hope major stress is over and the rest of the year will be relaxed.

This applies to this season only, but for right now, I am too busy to set aside even a few minutes for myself each day. Hopefully that will change beginning Wednesday! Please pray for me that it will because I'm totally exhausted. :(

Not sure yet if I will be travelling, we may do something last minute. Getting out of my routine is always a challenge for me, but we usually do quite active vacations, so I don't worry too much about not getting enough exercise.

Yes, I will be traveling out of state by car to my daughter's home which can take anywhere from 5 1/2 hours to 8 hours.

It has been a challenge for me. Because of stress over several years, I have had lichen planus in my mouth. So I am not suppose to eat: spicy, acidic, or hot temperature wise foods; nor drink of the fore mentioned as well.

And so I will have to prep/take what is necessary for me on the way down and the way back and especially during the Christmas Day.

However, I was able to get her store's discount card which enables me to take advantage of lower prices on food items, which is a plus not to mention that I have a debit/credit card which makes it easier to shop.

So bananas, skim milk, eggs, berries, herbal teas, fresh salads, and veggies plus lean meats are the way to go for me. But I must confess that carbs are my down fall. I can only pray that I do better.

Yes, we are going back to Yosemite again at the end of the month - my biggest problem is usually eating out, although sometimes I manage to eat healthy foods even when traveling. We tend to take active vacations so I usually get plenty of exercise.

I'm not going anywhere but being home with drop in company, I have similar problems as my routine is frequently disrupted. And my work schedule is very different this month than normal so all the things I normally do are not going to happen the same way this month.

Still planning to get activity when I can. Love to spend time with the grands and they all need to "get the wiggles out."
