An apple, a banana or some very high-fiber crisp bread from scandinavia, called finn crisp. I don't know if it's available in the U.S., but it's low in calories, high in fiber and very tasty.

What I tell food pushers. Sorry, I just ate.

Exercise sessions twice a day 60 minutes each 3 times a week and 60 minutes on 3 other days. I take sunday off

New low reached 149.2 lbs on 5/6/11. Made my weight watcher goal on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
New walk record 9/9/11, 4 miles in 58 minutes.

My sister has lost a lot of weight. Over 100 pounds and kept it off. Thanksgiving and family dinners are a big problem for her. It took all of one Thanksgiving to figure out that she wasn't eating AT ALL. She grabbed a baby and played with that one, moved from table to table (50 people for dinner) and visited, cleaned up plates, etc. Anything but eat. No one else seemed to notice. I have noticed the same behavior at other occasions and she doesn't really get bothered by anyone about eating. She is usually busy and appears to have eaten or will eat soon. Just never gets around to it.

I have another friend who keeps a big bottle of water and sips from it when she is in a social situation. She doesn't have to eat, just a "no thank you" but she has something to do with her hands and mouth and isn't feeling left out. '

I haven't run into that yet but sure I will.

I can either say no thank you and let it go at that; but if they are pushing I can say I saw my best friend pass away from complications of diabetes and so I choose to eat healthy How about you?

No thank you,I don't feel like eating that today,or I may say I don't use sugar which is true so I don't have to eat it,and if it something with cheese I just say I don't eat cheese.

Living a Healthy and Active Life style, Reach my Goal and very Happy with my Body,my eating habits,Fresh Fruits, Lot's of Green vegetables,drink 8 To 10 glasses of water daily.

When I was out with some new friends for dinner and they all chimed in "What are you having for dessert? " I said I was diabetic and I my Doctor says no, to those desserts.This was not really the best thing to say because one of those woman in the group now tells the waiter " She is diabetic and not allowed dessert" My other point I bring up is that I go to Weight watchers no thanks.And one more I say is "Did you know that cheese cake is a bazillion steps to wear off" no thanks.

It all depends on the situation.
But often, I say, No thanks, I'm not hungry at all.

Everthing I do today, WILL effect my tomorrows, and effect those around me.
How do I want my tomorrows to be?

I say, "At this time I chose not to eat that, but thank you so much." OR I'm just not able to eat that, right now, but thank you. I'm saying the same thing, but just in a different way. Depending on the situation, depends on which one I use.
