This is my first time posting Resolutions/Goals for anyone besides myself so please bear with me. Goals: (1) Drink more water. Drinking 8 glasses a day is far too intimidating so I'm
aiming for 4 glasses a day which will still be a challenge (hopefully more
realistic).

(2) Walk 10,000 steps per day (especially on non-delivery days when I tend
to be lazy)
(3) Write my first blog
(4) Get my passport (so that I can be ready to travel when opportunity
presents.
(5) Make some friends on Sparkpeople (not sure how to do this and I'm
kind of shy,
(6) Develop an exercise program I can follow at home (recently diagnosed
with moderate to severe arthritis)

I am still fairly new to SP. I have participated in the Personal Step Challenge for Nov/Dec
but do not know how to access the site where I can finish my figures for December. Can
anyone help with that?

I will stick to my 12000 a day steps and look for an average of 15000 to 16000 a day.

I am also hoping to make a 3000 minutes of exercise in one month something I have not quite made this year.

1. Get out of the house more.
2. Document my food better.
3. Quit bouncing up and down with my weight.
4. Lighten up! Do something fun. (See goal 1.)
5. Communicate with my sisters more often.
6. Finish painting my kitchen. (...going on 3 years now...)
7. Straighten my office so I can find things.

1) To walk more. Maybe faster too.
2) To get back into using the weights. When did I stop? I need more time in my day.
3) To figure out how to put a radio on my bike so I can ride longer and not get bored.
4) Keep working toward that goal weight!
4) Run/walk a 5K this summer.
5) Take daughter to Newfoundland as promised. (Long story)

This year is all about me and my quest to unload this extra person I have been hauling around.

1. Have my right shoulder replace on February 3

2014 -phase 2-
1. Start Rockin Body dvds
2. 10 minutes 5x/week attacking clutter
3. Save money -catch up/keep up with bills
4. Keep track of steps, miles, spark teams in notebook until can get a laptop
5. Get laptop
6. Go to library again- read more. - start with the Alex Cross series by James Patterson in order
7. Spend more time on personal self
8. Eat more fruits & veggies
9. Drink 10-12c water/day
10. Continue with my 2013 success... potentially reach goal weight.
11. Ride rides at amusement park or carnival
12. Walk up/down steps normally

Goals for 2014
1) Become more patient -(not really measurable) learn to count to 10 and try again on a regular basis.
(My immediate frustration when I can't do something new the very first time I try has gotten so bad that it is stopping me from trying new things altogether. This can not continue. So the way I will measure this goal is how many new things I accomplish this year - for example - posting a video blog, tweeting on twitter, taking photos with our digital camera without loosing my cool, etc.)
2) Reach my target body fat percentage - 25%
3) Complete at least 3 quilts
4) Survive moving to a new location with my newly retired husband. (See goal number 1 - I'm going to need patience.)

I have some goals for 2014 that are related to SparkPeople, so I thought it would be nice if we all shared our goals/resolutions with each other. They don't have to be Spark-related either. They can be anything that you think of. If I think of some regular goals, I will share them too.

I don't have any regular goals that I can think of right now, but here are the Spark-related goals I wish to achieve:

1) Finally get to my goal weight
2) Blog more often (although I don't know why since people don't read them)
3) Get back into my regular exercise routine (it went off-kilter after the surgery)
4) Spend more time on my Friend Feeds (liking and commenting on things)
5) Be more active on SparkTeams
6) Eat more freggies

That's about all that I can think of right now.
