Off topic - I just finished a book with a character who was the Mother Superior of a convent on Whidbey Island!

I belong to a couple of HUGE teams - Teachers Learning to Lose and Bookworms. I just go to read, and rarely post. My other active team right now is Divorce Support. I like teams that chat about other stuff, not just dieting topics.

I wholeheartedly agree. Some of the teams I have been on are very active and some are "dead". If I join a team and there is no action in it, I quit the team. I really enjoy the ones that keep up the posting, challenges, and huddles. I have received some great support from people on my teams. That is one thing that keeps me motivated. This has been a great group/team. I am going to miss you all when we leave Pensacola on June 7th and head for Whidbey Island, Washington.

I've been doing SP for a year now and I have been on lots of teams. Some are great and some are not. Our team is growing and there is some interaction that keeps the momentum going. I appreciate it when you guys blog and post and encourage each other. My goal is for everyone who comes to SparkPeople to be successful, whether it's through this team or another team. Here are some great teams that have really helped me:

Members Motivating Members
Fun, Fabulous and Forty-something
Done Being the Fat Girl
Parrothead Sparkers

There are many others. Feel free to add to the list. I recommend you get on a great team and get involved. Find a place where you fit in! You will be successful! Don't let this opportunity pass by!
