what has inspired me recently to exercise is simply that my clothes either don't fit or stay tight. It would be simple for me to just go out and buy new clothes that fit me. However that would be the easy way out and I can't continue to keep buying new clothes.

My family, I want to live and be healthy, not sit on the couch, unable to stay awake oh it only 7:00 pm. something has to change. right now there is no way that I can really do anything with my grandaughter and that is so very sad. emoticon emoticon

My best friend sends me a text message every morning at 6am, to help motivate me to get up and exercise before work. Her willingness and support inspires me to continue so I don't let her or myself down.

Goal #1 -20 lbs. by 12/25/10
Goal #2 -20 lbs. by 4/1/11
Goal #3 -22 lbs. by 6/11/11
Goal #3- 12 lbs. by 9/1/11

My Hubby made a deal with me that if I exercise he will wash dishes. Today was the first day and so far so good! I really hope that I can keep this up this time.

I have started giving myself motivational speeches. Sounds strange, I know, but it is actually helping. I've been telling myself, OUT LOUD, "you don't want to be 300 lbs.", "you can do this", "it's about you- this summer is all about you", etc.

I make my kids part of my exercise routine. I use my 3 year old for weight when I do bridge-ups, and we all three take turns using the ball and leg weights. I love running on the treadmill with some Nickleback and seeing how much better I am getting each week. The kids dance around while I run so we make it an exercise party. emoticon

The fact that the doctor told me I can't exercise for at least a month is making me go crazy for wanting to exercise. Let's see if it lasts when I get the go ahead in 4 weeks....

I do water aerobics and palates classes. I sometimes have to force myself to go. After I get there and get started I am glad I am there. I always feel so full of energy and skinny after I am done with class too.

So I am relatively new here, and I love it!

I got to thinking, we could inspire each other more if we all knew what helped each other to get out there and get some exercise in!

Every day I take pictures on my walk. It is AMAZING to see how everything changes from day to day. I post the pics to my blog to try and get others to look at the beauty around them on their walks too. It is so much better when you make it an artistic adventure, instead of trudging through exercise.

I also post a "Song That Rocked My Walk?" It is that song that pops up on your mp3 player when you are walking that puts more wiggle in your walk or the one you have to listen to 5 times because it is ROCKIN' YOUR WALK!
