I also use egg whites, black beans, edamame beans and I add roasted soy beans to my salads.

I dont like the taste of the whey protein drinks, so I get the powder and add a packet of carnation breakfast essentials.It comes it 4 flavors and no sugar added.

When I'm eating in the zone and tracking carefully, there have been times when my protein count would be low. One thing you can do is to eat a serving of Greek yogurt. It's tasty to sometimes mix it with your breakfast cereal or oatmeal too. I just read a book about a woman who had a gastric bypass, and her doctor/nutritionist directed her to get her protein serving in ahead of other food groups. I also sometimes eat boiled eggs for breakfast to have a nice protein-heavy meal to keep me going for quite a while.

I love salmon, swordfish, and shrimp as well as fish of all sorts, pork chops (get lean pork and it is low in fats), beef in a variety of ways, veal, eggs, cheeses. What foods do YOU like?

The combination of grains and legumes (beans) make complete proteins which have keep the poor in many countries alive for centuries.

Also soy products and seafood ... which I am assuming you are aware.

I use All Whites to make a great breakfast wrap: scrambled egg whites + salsa + La Tortilla Factory brand soft wrap = 203 calories and 27 g protein. (The Mission brand of wraps has twice as many calories per wrap, so look for the La Tortilla Factory brand.)

I also add red or white kidney beans to pasta salad for a protein boost. Peanut butter has a good amount of protein: 2 slices Sara Lee Delightful (wheat with honey) bread (toasted), 2 T peanut butter, and half an apple sliced = YUM breakfast.

Hi All, I need help to find more options to get my protein besides the 500 ways to fix chicken. I don't care for protein shakes and protein bars. Does anyone have any recipes or ideas? I appreciate all the support and encouragement!
