I am in complete understanding...
BUT, with me, I have been sabotaging my efforts over the last year or so - every day this week!
I think that admitting our faults and trying to understand why we repeat the same mistakes, is the beginning of how we change.
We can only learn by our mistakes, and none of us are perfect :)

My 'downfall day' this coming week will be Tuesday, when I celebrate my 22nd wedding anniversary... This is usually a 'Petronys Pizza' celebration day for hubby and myself... and I have no idea as to what we shall do this year - maybe make some healthy changes and NOT visit the best pizza restaurant/takeaway in the world! lol

I have been getting by on a wing and a prayer the last few weeks. I've made unhealthy dietary choices, and yet haven't paid the price... in fact, my weight loss has been excellent. Not so this week, I fear. My weigh-in is in just a few hours, and I think the scales will show a weight gain - my first since I have re-started Sparking. BUT, it IS a learning curve - and I believe that a weight gain is what I actually need to stop, think, and reassess my bad choices and start afresh.

I hope your Mothers Day was wonderful, and not too many temptations :)

Good luck, and don't be hard on yourself :)

Weekends can be difficult. For me, it's because I don't have as much structure and routine as during the week. One thing that helps me is to track my day ahead of time so I start with a solid framework. I also try to get more activity since I have more time. Hang in there!

Don't be so hard on yourself. We've all done it. Just pick yourself back up and get back at it today. Try going for a walk on the weekends when you feel like going overboard. That could help. Or before eating something put it in your nutrition tracker. Sometimes seeing how your calorie intake will look can deter you from eating something. Hope this helps you.

I am struggling with my weekends. I get in my exercise and my daily caloric goals, but once the weekend comes I seem to have no will power. So all my efforts during the week means nothing because when i weigh in on Mondays, I have gained weight!!!
Can going overboard on weekend actually cause weight gain in two days of over eating and not exercising? I am feeling so disappointed in depressed right now! emoticon
