Kathleen - Hope you are finding yourself out!

Bought a toddler sized air mattress for Anastasia today from someone selling a used one. $20 for the mattress, air pump, and sheets. It will work great for camping next month!

I've put myself on a strict sleep schedule during the week. I am going to lay down at 8. I can read or something while in there, but I have to be in that bed. Hoping this will prevent the sleep deprivation. I've also started taking my supplements to help me fall asleep. It an herbal blend with melatonin and other herbs known for promoting sleep.

Been getting my walks in and it feels great to feel that breeze off of the lake while I walk around it. Just love it!

When I walk in the heat, I just remind myself that I don't have to walk fast. Just focus on the fact that you are out there doing it.

Actually slept 9 hours last night. I had hit my breaking point. I drove home from work and did nothing! I rested on the couch until hubby called. Then, did very minimal before going to bed around 6:30. I even cancelled my nail appointment yesterday.

But, felt much better and less brain fog. I wasn't 100%, but so much better. I least I felt productive and functional at work today!

We had rain this morning on my way to work, but mostly misting most of the day. I walked in it anyway. The air was cooler, and it felt great! Used some wireless headphones my daughter gave me today. They are an old pair she doesn't use anymore. They worked well, but battery died by the end. I'm charging now, and will try again tomorrow. Not sure if it had a full charge this morning.

Hubby has an interview on Sunday morning with a recruiter (or headhunter). We have questions regarding his fee. It is quite expensive, but get reimbursed by the new employer. But, the guy seems to have a few leads. I guess we will wait to see what he has to say.

plans didn't work the way I was thinking so i ended up doing 3 miles in 70 minutes in the heat today....but I got to see lots of flowers and pretty trees. I focussed on what I was grateful for.

So humid last night I couldn’t sleep. I’ve been a walking zombie all day!

The nurse called to tell me no change in thyroid meds. Big surprise there..... Now, time to research alternatives to combat fatigue and brain fog. I’m already taking L-Carnitine and MCT oil and I don’t want to start drinking soda again...

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had issues with Jessie's car again yesterday. Going car shopping again tonight. Told her and my husband if they don't pick anything out tonight, I'm buying one on Wednesday. Can't have it stalling and overheating on her and I refuse to put money into a car we only paid $500 for.

I had the perfect chance to get on the elliptical this morning and I was too lazy to get out of bed. Ugh, wish I would have done something. Hoping I'm able to get on the bike at work today.

Have a great day everyone!!

So happy for the weekend. Had my thyroid labs done yesterday after work, and picked up Anastasia. My results were in my account last night. My TSH has dropped from a 1.47 to a 1.27, but the THYROXINE, FREE / FREE T4 has stayed the same. Not sure if anything will be done. I'll find out on Monday, but may have to look into other supplements and ideas for pick me ups.

Wisconsin Rapids has a Cranberry Blossom Festival going on right now. We went down to look at the craft vendors and find some lunch. It is really hot and muggy. Came home and gave Anastasia a nap. After nap, it was outside fun! We filled up her turtle sandbox with water and let her cool off!

Stay cool!

Thanks Kathleen! I've been working my butt off!! Great job getting the zumba done. I may try finding a youtube video of that and make it my exercise tomorrow.

I went out walking at 7:30 this morning and it was miserable out. I love summer but really wish it was in the 80s.

Going to a bonfire tonight. It's for our band parent group. Going to meet some of the new incoming freshman parents. I'm bringing a cooler full of water with me. Still trying to decide on a snack to bring.

Took my evening nap that has become a staple for me. I sleep in the evening then stay up into the early morning hours. It does take me an hour - 2 hours to fully wake up but tonight I am drinking coffee to get there faster.

I did Zumba last night in the early morning hours. I think I will repeat again tonight. Tomorrow I go to my first piyo class at the library. I may watch a video on SP to see what it will be like. I have never even done either one-- yoga or pilates. But the instructor told me they have 2 leaders with one doing modified moves. So that was a relief.

Vicky-- congratulations on making your goal!!!

Kathleen you got this!! I've always wanted to try zumba.

My water class was cancelled last night bc of the storm. I was kinda glad since it's so hard but at the same time I had talked myself into it. I ended up on the elliptical instead.

Getting my last massage tonight. Boo. Got a new sports bra last night. Going to try it out tomorrow. Hoping it gives me some support. Will have to go walking really early bc it's going to be almost 100 degrees tomorrow.

Have a great Friday!!

I did a couple songs but not in a row... but I'm still happy about it. I've been concentrating on making some changes and they are falling into place. I have a mentor now and we are workig together on getting fit. I don't know that I would ever look this good...but here is Ernestine Shephard at 74...

You can do it Kathleen!

Finally got some solid sleep last night. Still wasn’t enough, but didn’t feel like a zombie and my walk felt productive!

Feeling off with exhaustion and insomnia along with other symptoms. Having blood drawn for a thyroid check tomorrow. Won’t hear anything until Monday, I’m sure.

My daughter is still losing weight. I’m really concerned. She’s in a size 3/4. She looks healthy now, but if the weight keeps dropping.... She has an appointment next week.

My daughter is driving Anastasia up tomorrow evening since she will be visiting a friend up this way. Should still have time for my walk emoticon

Time to crack down... i joined the summer 5% challenge. That would be about 10lbs. I would like so much more this summer before weather turns in fall and winter. Time to keep my commitment to exercise every morning. I've been walking for years and I'm taking a piyo class for the first time this Saturday at the library. Next Saturday i will take a Zumba class. I get so out of breath with Zumba I'm thinking maybe I should do that today and every day...one song daily til I'm ok with it then add a 2nd song etc.

What do you think? Is that too little to start with ? Should I try for 2?

Got a slow walk in last night. That's ok, it was supposed to be an easy one anyways. We walked on the track at the school. I have my water class tonight. I really can't wait until this is over. I don't really enjoy the class and it's one of the hardest programs I've done. But I paid for it and I hate to waste the money.

Jessie and David are doing good with their motorcycle lessons. Their last class is tomorrow night.

I got all my food shopping done for the remainder of the month. I'm going to have to up my exercise. My food budget was really tight so I wasn't able to get the food I would prefer. But that's ok. I'm just grateful to have 3 meals a day.

It was 96% humidity at 6 am this morning. I chose not to go walking. I'll be doing a mile for sure later and may leave early to get more in before my evening class at 6:30 pm

I got my butt kicked in the cardiowave class again last night. But, I made it through the whole class. I was thinking about getting off the mat when she said it was time to do our cool down. I'm doing modified exercises (push ups on the knees) but I'm getting there!! Definitely not a beginners class.

Can't decided if I'm going to go walking tonight or take the night off. I may do a short walk tonight. I'm getting my last massage on Friday and will not be walking. I'm cancelling my membership emoticon It's costing too much money and I can use that money to put towards my daughter's student loans.

Hope you all are having a great week!!

Jessie did good in her motorcycle training class last night. Husband did too.

I got in a 2.3 mile walk last night. Would have gone further but it was just too hot and miserable out to continue. Ended up getting all my water in though. Yeah!!

Way to go Jeannie!! So proud of you!!

Yesterday was Jessie's bday. She hung out with friends and went shopping. Then we all went out to dinner last night. Then she and I went to to store to get her a helmet and gloves. She and my husband are taking motorcycle lessons this week. I'm not too thrilled about it but I think she'll do ok.

Need to really push myself this week. I'm 3 lbs away from a 20 lb loss since April 15th. I really want to hit it by Friday. Wish me luck!!

@jeannielorann Good for you getting up so early and getting your walk in. The scenery you described sounds beautiful.

I'm up and its 1:30 am. I took a nap to call a friend at 1am and keep her up til 4. She switched to a night shift and didnt want to go to sleep until early morning. She however must have fallen asleep because she didnt answer. HOWEVER...it may work out for me still. Its been raining all night and will all week continuously starting at 7am this morning. Butthere is a 4 hour block without rain from 3 - 7 am according to the in motion storm picture on weather.com That would give me plenty of time to walk to walmart and get groceries & get a long walk in for today. I'm not sure if I will. Like Michelle I am trying to talk myself out of it.

I did manage to walk! Woke up before the 4 am alarm yesterday. But I learned something new, apparently, sparkpeople stays in your home timezone....I always log my info in the evening. By the time that happened. It was Sunday back home. Oh well...

The Big island is beautiful...went to the southern most point in the USA. And then to a beach where these giant sea turtles were swimming in the waves and sunning themselves on the beach in their natural habitat...with Kilauea smoke billowing in the backdrop. We were close enough you could smell it...

Been a busy couple of days!

Took a walk around the lake again on Thursday. I was so tired and tried talking myself out of it all day. But, felt great and accomplished afterwards! Just as I pulled into my driveway, hubby told me he was having car trouble on his way home. He managed to limp it to DeForest in the semi truck parking lot. His alternator went out. I headed out to pick him up, and didn’t get home until 10:30.

Worked Friday doing my counts. I usually do desk work on Fridays, but I was way to tired to sit at a desk all day. Picked up hubby, and we headed to fix his truck and bring it home. My daughter found a great deal on an alternator near her, so she brought us the part. We were home around 8, and I was in bed by 8:30.

My daughter kept Anastasia this weekend before her college schedule gets more hectic. She only has one class right now, but two more will be added soon. So, hubby and I spent some quality time together. We went garage sale shopping, but we’re ve disappointed. Prices were high or they didn’t have anything. Thinking about planning a Madison trip for the Farmers market and garage sale shopping soon.

Today is routine shopping and housework for the week. Hubby is mowing the lawn.

Dang, 3:30 is awfully early!! You'll figure it out. Hope you have a great trip!!

I seriously got my butt kicked in the cardiowave class last night. I had a headache right in the eyes last night and my stomach was upset. I had to sit out the last 10 minutes of class. It was really hot too so not sure if that had something to do with it.

This Sunday is Jessie's birthday. She'll be 17. We're going to lunch at my inlaws on Saturday and going out to dinner on Sunday. Then she and my husband are taking motorcycle lessons next week. I'm not really thrilled about the idea.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I am going to try. But hubby is stressing about the plane so I don't know if I will get away with it. I have been trying to convince him we don't need to be there 3 hours early. Geesh. I used to travel all the time for work. He isn't used to it and this is the first time the kids will ever be on a plane....I could try to get up at 3.30 to walk, but not sure I would be that awake.

Jeannie, can you walk while at the airport? I don't fly much but we always have an hour or so by the time we get there until it's time to board.

Kathleen, glad you had a great day!

Tonight is my second night of the cardiowave class. So excited! I'm really proud of myself. Last night a few of us went walking at the park. Everyone else stopped at 3 miles but I decided to to do another lap around the park which gave me another mile!! Gotta keep working up my miles so I'm ready for my 10k next month!!

Had a really good day yesterday. Volunteered and went to a new class. Got some reading done and picked up a new book at the library on recording life histories. I want to do one this month for a dear friend of mine that is 88 years young.

Its only 3:30 am. I'll need another couple hours of sleep. I was just wide awake at 1 am so I got up. I would like to go to walmart early this morning and get my month of shopping done. If I had a car I would go now since I'm still wide awake and there would be fewer people in there which is always a plus.

Felt a bit better today. Must be catchup on sleep! My inventory lists have been good lately. No long days!

Had a appointment for my nails today. I chose a pearly light pink. While there, I scheduled my next three appointments. With my mini vacation and she has a vacation coming up. Just easier!

Met my old manager from GNC for dinner tonight. So nice to chat and catch up. Had chicken and shrimp from Applebee’s. Yum!

Busy night after that, so finally relaxing. Talk later!

Ok, here is the thing. I am leaving for a once in a lifetime vacation in Saturday. And I am trying to figure out how to keep my 30 minutes of walking in that day. But I have managed to walk at least 30 minutes for the last 183 days. We leave for the airport really early...don t have long layovers and will be traveling ALL day.

The thing is it is just one day. But I know me, which is why I have been so dilligent. One day will lead to two, etc.

The proof of desire is in the pursuit

I tried a new water exercise class night. Called Cardiowave. It was fun and I'm sure we looked like fools but worth it. We were on a mat on top of the water doing exercises. I didn't fall off mine!! We're doing this on Tues/Thurs through this month.

Busy weekend with Anastasia here, but wouldn’t trade it for the world! She was in such a good mood Saturday! Just wish the weather would have been better.

Long day today. Hubby didn’t sleep well last night, which means I didn’t.... emoticon
Came home today after work and took a nap. Did some housework afterwards and made a Turkey Polynesian Salad for my lunches. That took all the energy I had....

Kathleen - So happy to see you back here!!

Such a busy week!!

We spent Memorial Day weekend working in the yard with 90+ degrees and humidity!

Friday night, I went out with some girlfriends for dinner and drinks. I had an Anastasia free Friday so I took advantage of it.

Saturday - We cut a tree down that was dead. My husband was playing hide and seek with Anastasia a couple of weeks ago, and noticed a large crack down the trunk. We were worried it would fall on her. We ended up just pulling it down with his truck. it was pretty rotted out!

Sunday - My daughter came up with her husband and Anastasia to help put up the swing set we bought. We bought it used, so it was together in pieces. She just loved it!

Monday - We relaxed and cooked chicken thighs on the grill - my husband's specialty!

Tuesday - I had to take Medusa in for a recheck. Which consisted of working all day, driving home, loading the cat into the car, and driving 30 minutes back towards work. But, her left eye retina has reattached and her blood pressure is good! She will probably never see in her right eye again, but still good news! But, she has lost a lot of weight. She decided to stop eating her special food. So, we are trying a different brand, and so far so good. Picky kitty.....

Wednesday - I had dinner with a friend. She told me she is moving before winter. I'm going to miss her, but will cherish our dates :)

Thursday - Came home and sewed some velcro on a race suit for hubby. He is too skinny so we had to add extra to the belt. He needed it tonight.

Tonight - Because of the holiday, we don't get overtime pay until we physically work 40 hours. Not going to happen. So... I left work when I hit my 40 hours.... at 2:00!! I drove down to get Anastasia from the other Grandma, came home and drank a soda. I usually stay away from it, but I really needed the caffeine. Made salisbury steak, rice, and steamed veggies for dinner. She ate the salisbury steak and ketchup. Though, she was extra hungry tonight. She had four snacks in an hour or so!

So, that was my busy week. I was exhausted from working in the hot 90+ heat that continued through the week, and was busy. So, I never got the extra rest I needed. I'm heading to bed very soon!

Michelle

Last two days I have slowed way down but I am watching my eating since I did slow down. Today I have a list of things to-do . I am hoping that keeps me out of the bed. I hope everyone has a wonderful first day of June!

Not so great walk today. I really need to find a really shaded walking route. The older I get the less I can tolerate the heat. Ugh!!

Today is my nieces bridal shower at my moms house. It's coed. Then tonight I'm sitting at home and doing nothing. Tomorrow I'm doing nothing too!!

Have a great day!!

So glad it's Saturday! I ended up getting up at 6:30 this morning instead of sleeping in. I haven't gotten anything done yet this morning but that's ok. I have a walk to get done this morning and lots of chores to do today. Woo hoo!!

Michelle, I love walking around the water. There are a few small lakes in my parents subdivision.

It's been a very trying week. I'm supposed to be the chair person for the senior lock in. I wasn't planning on doing it this year but the guy asked me 3 times if I'd do it so I said yes. Really wish I wouldn't have. They keep trying to push me out and block any of my ideas. We have a group text for the group and no one ever responds to anything. Only reason I haven't said screw it and tell them to pick up all the stuff is bc 3 of my good friends have kids going and they are working the event with me. This group complains that they can never get people to volunteer in the concession stand. That's bc they push anyone out who is not part of their click. Sorry for the rant, just really frustrated the last couple of days!!

Have a wedding shower on Sunday and other than that we have no plans this weekend. I'm sleeping in tomorrow. Yeah!! Have a great day!!

Walked around the lake the last couple of days. I know it is only a couple of days, but my energy already has increased. I can't walk tomorrow due to the chance of rain. This works for me since it halfway home. By the time I get all the way home, I am tired....

I'm not picking up Anastasia this weekend. They are driving up Sunday instead. I called up a friend that I used to meet on Friday's once in a while. I finally have a Friday that I'm available....LOL

Not much else to report. Have a great night!

Had dinner with a friend last night. I picked up Panera and brought it to her house. My daughter was given a bunch of hand me down wooden kitchen toys, that Anastasia doesn’t need. She has a Minnie Mouse kitchen at home, and ice cream cart here. So we gave them to my girlfriend for her little boy.

We had such a good time :)

This morning, I decided to walk after work around the lake. I was so happy I did. By the time , I finished, I felt energized and accomplished. And walking that trail, I saw a cardinal. And then a blue jay being chased by two robins. Really makes you appreciate the beauty around us! Now, if we could get rid of the mosquitoes! They are just awful right now....

Had a busy weekend with Anastasia, but fun as always. Port Edwards had an open house at the fire station, so we took her down there. She didn’t really understand, but we got some neat photos anyway. They also were having an area wide rummage sale, so we put her in the stroller and walked a bit. Garage sales weren’t that good, but that means I didn’t spend much... Lol.

My daughter drive up on Sunday so hubby could help replace the fan in her car. They haven’t had heat or air conditioning in that vehicle in a couple of years. They got it running again so it can be her vehicle for school.

Relaxed outside, watching Anastasia play. But, the mosquitoes were just awful!!! We sprayed ourselves diwn with Off, but plan to try a yard sprayer this weekend.

Spent my evening getting my nails prettied up again :) And looking over insurance information. Hubby’s employer is changing. Ugh....

Hope all is well!

Taylor and I went and walked at the park this morning. I walked, she ran. She did 6 miles to my 3.2. She is a great cross country runner. We left just in time. Started thundering and lightening as soon as we left the park.

My husband's work picnic got cancelled today. We had so much rain yesterday the park was flooded. Oh well. I didn't want to go anyways. Husband has been a real jerk the last couple of weeks.

Tomorrow mom and I are going to a funeral. My brother's girlfriends dad died this week. Feel so bad for her. She's been dealing with that and all my brothers stuff.

Hope you all have a great weekend?

Hubby was home this week, so it was busier than I am used to.... And Wednesday we drove to Steven Point to buy a Little tykes table and chair set with an umbrella. Thought it would be good for our cookouts, rather than dragging the high chair outside. It's used, but still has lots of life left. My daughter and I went in on it together.

Finally went to bed before 10 last night, and then drove to Portage to pick up Anastasia. Was told she didn't get much of a nap, but she was really good. No complaints to come inside from playing, and she even helped put her tea set away. She is repeating words more and more every day!

Not sure what the plan is this weekend. I might look into the free zoo in Wisconsin Rapids and see what they have. Might be something different for her, or there is an open house at a local Firehouse.

Hope all is well!

So glad it's finally Friday!! Really didn't want to get my walk in last night but I did it. Once I got started I was fine. It's supposed to rain all day here so I don't think I'll get out tonight. Will hit the bike at work today and then the elliptical tonight.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Michelle I just love seeing your pics of her. She is so cute!!

I've had some slip ups lately. I ate like crap the last 3 days. Went for a great walk last night. That really helped to get my motivation back. Plan on going again tonight. I think we'll go to a different place tonight.

We had a great band banquet the other night. Can't believe the school year is almost over.

Had Anastasia this weekend. We were so exhausted on Saturday, we didn't do much. We did look into a used swing set thought. We have her often enough that we think it would be nice to utilize our own yard rather than going to the park. We got a good deal. Hubby went and picked it up today. Just need to replace a couple of wooden pieces on it, and put it back up. Sunday, we grilled out and celebrated Anastasia turning 2! Hubby mowed the lawn, and she played with her outside toys after her nap. She had so much fun, she didn't want to stop to eat!

As you can see, she loved her cake!

Hubby is home this week. It was so nice having dinner with him tonight. We had a simple meal, but cherish the time we usually don't get emoticon

I'm exhausted tonight from my weekend. My daughter didn't leave last night until 8:00! I left the dishes in the sink and went to bed. Of course, that meant I came home to do them today after work...LOL

Yesterday was an awesome day! Taylor and I did the breast cancer 5k. She got 1st place in her age group and I knocked a minute off my mile average!! Then we went and got pedicures. Today we're going to lunch for Mother's Day and I think I'll have to make my walk later in the day. Don't know if I'll be able to get out before lunch and it's going to be in the 90s this afternoon. I may just drive up the park and walk. That way I can stop if I need to.

Have a great Mother's Day everyone!

Michelle, good for you for pampering yourself! I'm getting a pedicure tomorrow. I'm in desperate need of one. I want to get a haircut too. I've been contemplating getting bangs for the last few months. I also want to get highlights.

Taylor and I are doing a 5k tomorrow. I haven't done a race in 3 years. Wish me luck!! It will be down at the riverfront so I'm looking forward to it. There will be a lot of people though. I don't like the crowds much I think I need to do this. I need the extra push.

Have a great Friday!!!!!!!!!!

Spent the evening pampering myself with a haircut and a manicure. I broke the nails off of both middle fingers the last couple of days, so the polish removal stung a bit this time. But, they are shortened up and looking nice again with a sheer pink. Just needed a trim on the hair so nothing new there, just added some additional layers.

Calling for rain tonight and tomorrow with lower temps of 67. I've been enjoying the 80+ degrees the last few days..... emoticon Back to dressing in layers at work.

Heading over to visit with a friend after work tomorrow. We are having wraps, so it shouldn't destroy my eating plan too much...

Good for you Vicky! I always struggle with that when I eat out. Wednesday is Fazoli's......

We had Anastasia this weekend. She was such a good girl with lots of smiles!! She even puts herself to bed now without complaint. You tell her Night Night, and she grabs her water sippy and her baby and gets right into bed. She is trying to talk more too. She said Bye, and One (Done). We are still working on yes. No means no, and no means yes. You have to listen to her tone...LOL We went for our walk around the lake and stopped halfway to let her play at the playground. She had already pointed to 6 swing sets before we got to that one....LOL. There is a campground, so there are several. But, we stopped at the one with a slide. Next weekend. we celebrate her 2nd birthday. Hard to believe she will be 2 on Wednesday!! Love being a Glamma, watching her learn and discover emoticon

Had a good motivational week with exercise and food choices. So, I am keeping the momentum going. Spent tonight making a Wild Rice Chicken Salad for the week's lunches. One of my favorites!!

I am very proud to say that I stayed within my calorie range yesterday. Woo hoo! I'm grilling for the first time this season tonight. My daughter wants brats. I want to throw a piece of chicken on there for me but anytime I grill it, it's always dry.

Tonight is my first meeting as the band parent president. So exciting. But at the same time it's also my bff's last meeting as treasurer since her daughter is graduating this year.

I've been struggling with the eating today. I've stayed on track but am really wanting to just eat. Ugh. I'll be going for a walk in 1/2 hour once Jessie leaves for work. I've got a nice steak to cook for dinner. Will have some grilled veggies with it too.

I finally got my kitchen put back together and all cleaned up today. I didn't think I'd ever get it done. Dishes just keep piling up.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I had pizza last night too! I put the portion I was allowed to eat on my plate. So thankful my husband ate the rest so I wouldn't be tempted.

Getting ready to go grocery shopping and head to my neices bday party. Did 27 minutes on the elliptical and will go for a walk later. Have a great day!!

I was tired after work today. I'm sure my body is adjusting to the added activity after work along with all the walking I do at work. I let myself relax for about 45 minutes today, then told myself to go walk that treadmill....LOL You always feel better when you get the fitness done. You may not want to, but feel guilty when you don't.

My salad from Panera was very good Strawberry Poppyseed with chicken breast. So yummy! And free! My favorite price!

I pick up Anastasia tomorrow night, so it is pizza night. It's quick and easy, and I'm using a frozen one. Those are much easier to stay in control than a delivery hot and fresh one.

Raining here a bit tonight, but supposed to be nice tomorrow. We need the rain to green up the grass! And raining at night is perfect! Then, it doesn't interfere with any outside plans!

Hope your daughter had a great birthday dinner!

We are planning our anniversary weekend for October in Sister Bay again this year. We really enjoyed the town and the resort we stayed in was wonderful! We will only stay for the weekend this year, since I have a new job and "hopefully, hubby will to.

Another walk in today. Have to keep going and ignore all those excuses! If you listen to excuses, every day there will be new ones. You have to say no to those thoughts and push through!! And you always feel better that you did it!!

Having a Panera Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Grilled Chicken tomorrow for dinner. I received an email for a free salad. Yay!! Placed my order and added a cookie for hubby. I always feel guilty just getting the free stuff.... emoticon

Off to bed. Hope everyone has a great night!

Glad you're having a great week Michelle!

Today is my oldest daughter's 19th birthday. We are going to Red Lobster for dinner. I have two dinners picked out. I really want the crab alfredo. I may splurge and get it but I always hate getting off track even for a meal because it messes me up. I think I just talked myself into the small sirloin and broccoli instead!!

Have a great day everyone!

Having a good, motivated week. My eating has been on track, and I made myself take a walk today on the treadmill. Hubby and I are going to walk the trail around the lake on Saturday to make sure it is not too muddy and the snow is gone from the shady areas.

Prepped my Waldorf Salad for work lunches this week. So yummy with celery, grapes, apple, raisins, chicken, honey, plain greek yogurt and a few spices. And, I pack a few fresh crunchy veggies to go along with it. Healthy and extra antioxidants to boost my energy for the afternoon!

Enjoy the nice Spring weather!

Michelle, I love Subway. It's my go to for an easy low calorie dinner. And it's filling.

I finally got back up to 500 fitness minutes for the month. Been working real hard to get back on track. I just can't believe how much it has helped to go walking with friends. We're going to a different park tonight for a change of scenery.

Tomorrow is Taylor's 19th birthday. How am I old enough to have a 19 year old!!

No Anastasia this weekend. The house is so quiet. We didn't want her to get hubby's cooties. He is feeling better. Nurse Ratchet has been ordering him to rest....LOL

Spent the day being absolutely lazy. Just no motivation and tired. Took a nap this afternoon. Tomorrow is laundry and shopping day! Had a subway salad today for lunch. I just love their salads, and good portions too. Hubby had chicken noodle soup tonight, so I made myself an egg mcmuffin sandwich with cheese, peppers and onions. Need to get my eating under control! I'm good for a few days, then bad for the next few. Time to get with it!

SCHMUNZELN, sounds like you have a great plan!

Cool nails Michelle. I need to get a pedicure desperately. Has a facial yesterday and it was awesome!!

How's everyone else doing? We're having beautiful weather here.

Had a wonderful evening with the girls and Jax :) one of the girls I haven’t see in five years. So nice to catch up!

While I was visiting, hubby went to Urgent Care. By himself! Of his own decision!! Now, I know he’s sick! He has bronchitis and an ear infection. emoticon Called my son in law since my daughter was working. I don’t think it’s a good idea to take Anastasia with Cooties in the house.

Have a great night!

Schmunzeln - I'm a firm believer in slow weight loss, and am happy to lose a pound a week.

Hope your flare up is settling down. Sounds very painful.

Having a good week at work so far. Reorganized my time a bit and it seems to be working. I've only worked an extra 15-30 minutes each day extra vs the 1 1/2 hours. Hopefully, it keeps up.

I have a start of a cold coming, and my body is fighting it. Was very tired today, but I didn't get my relax time last night. I never do well without that time. Came home today, and took a nap. I just really needed it.

Meeting a girlfriend tomorrow night to hang out over pizza. She has a little boy around Anastasia's age. She offered for us to meet for dinner or order pizza. Much easier with little ones to order pizza. And pizza is no fuss and easy!

Hoping to wake up refreshed tomorrow!

I got back Saturday from an all-inclusive vacation with a 6 pound gain. I have been very slowly getting back on track but, it is a bit of a struggle. I am hoping to be back to my targets by next week.
Issues to over come:
1. My daughter is home from her 4 years in Thailand and is a carb queen...my house is full of all kinds of trigger foods.
2. My school just voted to extend the day so we get out earlier all the snow days) but that cuts into my schedule for working out.
3.New medication side effect gain weight.
Plan of Attack:
1. Get my daughter to embrace a balanced diet ..Plan out meals
2. Get to bed earlier, get up earlier and work out in morning. add extra steps into day
3. Deal with even slower weight loss and not freak out.

Had a busy weekend with Anastasia. Hubby and I were pretty tired all weekend. I was exhausted from my long day on Friday. I left the house at 6, and didn't get back from picking Anastasia up until 9:30. Just can't handle those kind of days anymore....
Found out yesterday that hubby was fighting something - he's sick and passed it on to Anastasia. I've been knocking on wood all day - hoping I don't get it!

Opened the windows before heading to work this morning to air out the house a bit. Sure felt great to have fresh air in the house! Threw Anastasia's bedding in the washer tonight to wash the cooties!

Got my nails done tonight for my pamper me night :) Pretty summery color!

My daughter dyed her hair while we had Anastasia time - fun galaxy colors. Figures she better do it now before she is out of school....LOL

Saturday night, we took Anastasia to an indoor playground. They serve wraps and such for dinner also. We ate dinner and took her to play. She loved it!

Had a hard time sleeping after hubby got up this morning. So. I should sleep good tonight!

What a busy weekend. This week will be a little easier. Still have thing sgoing on but the days won't be as long.

I'm proud to say that I got myself back on track yesterday. I went over by about 300 calories on Friday and Saturday's eating was just awful. I stayed within my range yesterday. Lately, whenever I get off track it takes me weeks to get back on. Now just hoping we can get our walk in tonight. Supposed to rain off and on. Hope everyone has a great week!!

So glad Friday's here, even though it will be busy weekend. Working at the school tonight and have to be back there at 7 tomorrow. Then a surprise bday party for a friend and working a trivia tomorrow. Sunday will be a catch up on the house day.

Hope everyone has a great day!!
