I have seen it work for me, with only doing this 2 weeks, I am down 8 pounds. I think a lot of it is not only tracking and holding yourself accountable, but also the support you get. I think that is huge!

Yes, welcome! The best things you can do here are find active teams to participate in and make friends with others similar to you. Tracking what you eat every day is also very important. Holding yourself accountable, and even having an accountability partner, will help a lot, too. I'm sure you already know these things, but I'm just here to let you know that YES they do work!

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new at Spark People and have about 110 lbs. to lose. I'm 37, been married 11 years and have 3 children ages 5, 8 and 9. I've tried (and failed) every other weight loss program (except for surgery). I've heard that the Spark program really works so I'm really looking forward to finally having some success!
