Well I am down 16lbs total... However I have been stuck at 16lbs for 2 weeks now... I'm not sure how to get past this plateau, but I would be open to any suggestions you may have. On a more positive note, I am still losing inches! For the month of February, I am down 1/2 inch on my waist, 1 inch on my hips and thighs, and 2.5 inches on my bust line! Just wish the lbs would drop along with it... Still positive progress is better than none at all!

Congrats to you all that have lost this week!! I am joining spark people as i have lost 60lbs but the last year i have been a a stand still..I was sick for 7 months of last year and ended up getting my gall bladder removed and now this year want to step it up again and lose the last 20-30lbs... I have a terrible habit of having major sweet attacks and feeling the need to eat the bad stuff and these cravings stop me from achieving my goal. I really mean business and have come this far and want to keep going. Hoping this will help me through!!!

Hang in there Mandy ...switch up your routine...make sure that you are eating enough to burn calories. (I ran into that problem) Change an exercise or eat something different to change your metabolism... do not give up...I had a lot of plateaus and got frustrated but kept going

This is my first week! I started on SP about 5 days ago!! I'll probably weigh in a few days. How often do you recommend weighing? I lost about 50lb and then got pregnant, so I'm trying to lose all the baby weight. I'm trying to lose the weight in a healthy way, so I'm aiming for a pound a week. More would be amazing, but my goal is one per week. So.....

In my first week back on SP and back on my diet in over 6 months, I lost 4 pounds. I have 10 more to go to get back to where I was in July. Then another 20 to go after that. I'm just making small goals for now so I don't get overwhelmed with the full amount.

Well the scales really didn't show a lot this morning. I am 186.8 which is somewhere around a pound loss but I'll take it. I did however take my measurements this morning even though is hasn't been a month since I took them last but I've lost 3 total inches!!!! Can't complain about that!

Leighann: I'm happy for you! I have had an increase of 2lb this week but I have never taken my measurements. You've inspired me to get out the measuring tape and a pen. Then maybe when the scale is discouraging the measurements will back me up.

hello!! I'm back on Spark for the second time. I lost 15lbs 3 years ago and ran my first 5k. Since then I have had a baby and gained 25lbs.

I havent lost a darn pound, but I am optimistic! I have been sick, and I have transitioned on to working day shift. I never really ate much when I worked nights, but on days, oh my goodness, its so hard to eat healthy when its a 12 hour shift and busy as you know what! I guess I have to get more organized and avoid the cafeteria all together! I drink a TON of water at work though! Good luck everyone!

New to this group, just started tracking what I eat a little over a week ago. Went from 197.4 to 192.2. I was so encouraged by that loss I celebrated a bit yesterday and gained back a pound, so now at 193.4. I won't be doing that again and am now beginning an exercise program since I believe that the eating part of this works. Hoping to get to 148 by my birthday in July.

Meh, I was 170.2. Which is a slight increase from my last week weigh-in. I'm not terribly discouraged, I had some ups and downs this week, I exercised great, but my eating habits were lacking. This week will be better, I did some grocery shopping and stocked the fridge with healthier options for the entire family!

Well this week's weight in didn't go as well as I would have liked. I am up to 187.2 which is a 0.6 lbs weight gain. UGH!!! Work harder next week is the goal.....

I am down 0lbs... however I am still optomistic because its my time of the month and its normal for me to gain 2 lbs during that time.... and I did my measurements and I lost 1 inch since the last time I measured, and where I want them to be lost the most (belly area, even with being bloated :) )
