Currently 191.2 lbs - I gained 5 pounds between November 1st and today. Not happy. I could blame it on moving and multiple family scenarios, but its really my own fault for not keeping tabs on what went into my mouth. How do I begin to get back on track?!?

well I think I'm 159. That means I lost 1 pound since joining Spark People in mid-December. I am pretty encouraged because I gained 5 pounds trying to follow the 1200 calorie minimum but those pounds seem to have went away. I still can't fit into anything but at least it's going in the right direction.

I went down during last week and then back up by today. I have a couple ideas to why it happened. One is that I ate what I wanted without tracking this weekend. So I will keep it up. I was happy when I did the monthly measurements on Saturday morning and was down 5 inches since last month. Now if the scale would follow suit things would be good.

Still at 181, but I'm finally down a 1/2 inch in my hips (after no change for weeks) and down another 1/4 inch in my thighs since Jan 23rd. My upper arm measurement is down 1/2 inch also. Plus, I finally feel like I belong in my size 14 jeans. I was wearing them because the 16 were falling off, but I was kinda in between sizes. The fourteens were feeling a bit tight. They fit nicely now. :)

First day back after a year. I was down in weight in the summer but gained back 10 so far this winter. Time to get back into some goal setting and achieving! emoticon I've already read some of your posts. You're so encouraging!

This being the first of the month I decided to do all my measurements as well as weigh in. I measured all of, what I call, the "fat girl" areas...

Waist: started at 39 and am now 38.5"
Hips: From 44 to 40"
Arms: From 14 to 12.5"
Bust: From 39 to 37"
Thighs: Stayed the same at 26"

And my weight this week is 213.4lbs! I've been doing this for just under 6 weeks so these numbers make me more than excited! I am super stoked and totally motivated to keep going!!! Bring on February!

I started watching what I was eating and working out on Jan.9th. Joined sparkpeople on the 17th. I have made it to my first goal. 10lbs lighter!!!!!! I have about 35 lbs to go. I take it one day at a time. It really has clicked this time. I don't feel like I am dieting, I changed my lifestyle!! New Year, New Me!!!!!!!

After back tracking and going to my doctor I discovered that my last weight in was 180 pounds at the Dr. Office around November 15, 2012 and now it is January 29, 2013 and I am now 176 pds. I am so happy and my trainer was also happy for me to. I feel really great.i just started to change my life January 2, 2013.

Ok, so I weighed in last week at 148.8 and am sad to say that this morning the scale showed 150.4. emoticon

Amelia change up your exercise routine to shock your body back into lose mode. Sometimes just changing your daily exercise routine around a bit and adding new exercises can get your journey moving again.

I am weighing 154 pounds (SW 183). I am happy for what I have accomplished so far, but a little impatient because I am not being able to break a two-month plateau. It seems that my body is comfortable with this amount of exercise and food, even though doing maths I should be loosing a bit each week.

Amanda what are you doing besides exercising? It takes some time for your body to catch up with you sometimes so hang in there and keep pushing through. Focus on committing to small goals like getting all your water in everyday and eating your fruits and veggies or just eliminating one soda a day. Track all your food before you try to change too much to see what you are consuming now on a daily. If you aren't getting enough calories everyday then your body is in survival mode and stores what you do eat. By tracking you will be able to see if you are meeting your daily needs for everything that is needed in order to lose weight. Just keep pushing girl and I promise you will start to see changes. By the way have you had any changes in how your clothes fit? That is a non-scale victory and is a good way to gauge if you are heading in the right direction.

That's great that everyone is having so much success. I have been doing Spark for a month, and haven't lost a thing. Not an ounce. I even double me excersise goal each week, sometimes triple it. I am still working at it, but don't think it will do too much. Glad to see it works for others though. Keep it up!
