Hi all..my first day on sparkpeople! Today it took me 75 minutes but I walked and jogged 5 miles! I am a smoker (bad I know) and to think this would ever be possible without feeling like I was going to die is unbelievable to me.

Today was the treadmill for 30 mins on incline 5 at 3.7mph. Feel like I need to keep ramping it up.

Strive strength circuit:D I love those machines.

Got my gym workout in today, Day 5 of my Mexico Beach Body plan. A good 30 minute cardio warm up and then a strength training circuit. I feel great. Nothing but some cardio to do tomorrow to burn more calories. With all this time off I have no excuses, cardio can be fit in 7 days/week now.

Got a 6 mile walk done in just under 2 hours. Feeling sore from yesterdays circuit. Plan to do a cardio/strength circuit tomorrow.

I helped my mother in the garden for a couple hours and it was really hard work! I usually don't count chores as a workout but this went above and beyond, so I did

I walked/ ran 3.1 miles with the kids on their bikes and the 100lb dog running slowly behind us. He is out of shape too! I also did pushups, lunges, core work and stretching as part of my strenght workout today. Also later we will be driving our jetskis on the river for about 1 to 1 & 1/2 hours and that should be some more calories burned. I think that keeping my calories at approx 1300 and doing the cardio every day M-F is finally showing some progress. Good Luck everybody and get out there and do something, anything. emoticon

Usually do a walk on my lunch hour. Today was teeming down in rain. so I went home for lunch and did 5 upper body exercises..3 sets 10 reps each.
I think its stopped rainging so im going for a bike ride when i get home.

easy 6 mile run, 50 min Power Yoga

MESEATURTLE: I did do it all in one day, though I hadn't planned on it. A friend of mine invited me out for a quick game of tennis... which turned into a vigorous 1hr40 min match. (She smoked me!) Then, I went on a walk with another friend while my daughter was at her ballet class. Then, I went on my evening run (which I actually cut short from the 8 miles I had planned) and did yoga afterwards to kind of stretch out (orders from my Physical Therapist). I had only planned on the run and yoga, but the walk and tennis kind of crept in there. Bottom line? 1476 calories burned for the day, per my Heart Rate Monitor. Whoohoo!
