Haha, it's been a few months and I'm still not to goal yet. I've regained a bit, then lost it, then regained it again. Yoyo.

Of course, before I got really heavy, I pretty much had a 20lb spread that I would bounce between 175-195. So, bouncing between 170 and 180 isn't outside of the norm for me.

Gotta say, as someone who started out a lot bigger... the last 10lbs have CRAWLED by. ZOMG.

I knew it would happen the smaller I got, but, for real, it's agony.

Jesse~I totally suffer from PMS food struggles.....I binge but then also have times when have no appetite. I didn't notice it as much until I started tracking my food lol Matter of fact~I try not to step on the scale because my weight goes crazy. My "time" is ending so might get a better idea of actual weight.

This is for the women only, but how do you all deal with the binges and lack of energy during that time of month? This seems to be my only consistent problem..... although much better then the past.....

OK I'm back. I've been gone a while. The older I get the less muscle tone I seem to have, and the harder it is to maintain my ideal weight. However, that being said I'm a cardio junkie and I do very little strength training, I certainly could improve my habits.

I need to drink more water
I need to add regular weight training
I need to vary my cardio, I hear that are other things out there besides running, who knew?
I need to permanently stop my junk food binge cycle I do periodically (hubby out of town = icecream)

Joenetta - love your story!

I've been on this team for a while but inactive. Since its a new year I figured now would be a great time to try to "re-join" some of my groups and get involved. I'm really excited about getting back on track this year. Back in 2011-2012 I lost about 80 lbs and changed my whole life... But then 2013 seemed to be a disaster! Long story short, I went from 105 lbs to 131 lbs and I've lost so much of the muscle that I put into my body. I had gotten to the point where I had more energy than my kids and was in the best shape of my whole life. My daily habbits were healthy and I was saticefied with myself.

Things are different now since I stopped taking care of myself. I got a promotion at work---which is where the worst of my downward spiral began. So now I have to pick myself back up and get back on track... Its almost like starting over in a way---BUT I know that that's not true b/c I'm not 187 lbs, I'm 131. So that's a 55 lb head start from where I was 3 years ago, right?

Here is a short run down of my plan:
1.) I started today on something called 30DayPush Challenge. -www.30daypush.com is where I signed up for free. And every day for the next 30 days I watch 1 inspirational video on how to prioritize and set reachable short term, mid term and long term goals. (I'm super excited!!!)
2.) I'm going to start tracking my food -and other things- here on sparkpeople the way I did 3 years ago- FAITHFULLY- I'm going to let myself get obsessed. (I know how important balance is, however for me focus is very important. I have to "keep my eyes on the prize" so to speak.)
3.) Its time to dust off my favorite workout DVDs (Turbo Jam & Turbo Fire.) They were my secret weapons for 2 years and I just have to get back into the habit of pressing PLAY.

I know HOW to do this- anyone has only to read my blogs on my spark page to know everything I went thru these past couple years. The ups and downs. But if I've learned anything,... its that no one is perfect. And I cannot be an "all or nothing" person. I have to find a way to forgive myself when I slip up and move on.

So that's my story. Now I'm ready to hear everyone elses. I want to help support this team. I've found that by supporting others it helps me to feel supported to. Please message me and visit my spark page!

I need to make sure there are no sweets on the kitchen counters when I wake up. I ate a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast this morning. Ugh. But I turned around and grabbed a handful of grapes to satisfy my sweet tooth when I started to reach for the second one. Here's to making better food choices with the rest of my day!

My weekend is over....work at an ice cream store, so a little hard to avoid it emoticon I'm also trying to get in the habit of eating a few more times a day and not so big portions. I try to always pack something when I go to work to avoid fast food splurging after a shift.

Eating several small meals is good, but I have a hard time staying healthy when I'm busy. I also try to keep culprits like chips and ice cream out of my house, so it is inconvenient to go and get them.

Hi there! I am 34, 5ft tall. i weigh 112 lbs, want to lose 8 lbs due to my height. i just cant eat healthy for more than 3 days at a stretch. the third day i have to binge on a totally fattening snack.. i don't understand why i do this.
I cardio 30 mins a day, atleast 5 days a week. my body responds very well to healthy eating and exercise as long as i do both. but i keep undoing any good done bcos of the binge eating. i have such intense craving that i cant think straight and i just go for a big dessert or something like that. it looks like i am rebelling to self control. any tips to overcome this weakness?

Hi Getskinny, It's always the last 5 lbs or 10lbs that seem to be the toughest. I think its because you are almost there at your ideal weight and the motivation is not too high because you probably look and feel very close to your target. Hang in there though, I think focusing on making this fun or educational, or making lifestyle changes like drinking more water, more veggies, more fruits...anything to either make it a bigger challenge or more fun should help. All the best.

Hi SGTPEPPER.
Newbie here. I live in the desert. Arizona. Fall is far away for us. Usually doesn't hit until after Halloween. Right now is monsoon season and we have had some pretty awesome thunderstorms in the last week. Unfortunaly since the lightning struck my road last monday my phone servcie has been out. That's fine though, we would rather watch the storms then talk on the phone anyway.

Hi SGTPEPPER,
Here in Cali where I live, its still pretty blistering hot...but I noticed the first signs of fall when my son picked up a beautiful red 3 pointed leaf yesterday on our walk to school and said...look mom a red triangle leaf. Yep, definitely some beautiful signs of things to come.

So this is the Everyday Chit Chat thing I guess - so I was just wanting to, you know, chit chat. I was wondering whether you have fall where you live and how close it is, and what your favorite season is. We are starting the gradual decent into fall here and I am looking forward to it. On my jog today it was so nice and cool out. Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons but I think I like Spring a little better. One nice thing about summer is it makes me want to eat less:)

Hi PROLOE, my biggest obstacle I thought was lack of exercise. So I focused on that and didnt see any change on the scale. I decided to track my food but not make any changes consciously to what I was eating and the problem became apparent. Now I am making small changes every day while continuing to eat what I am used to (like smaller quantities, picking one healthy item). I guess my biggest obstacle was ignorance :)

Hi SGTPEPPER4191, I noticed that too with my own baby. I was very sleep deprived and tired and did notice that overindulging even a little made the extra weight stick. Sadly, I just stopped trying to lose them and still carry them 3 years later. So keep up the good fight with the weight scale. :)

You know, since having my last baby I have noticed that I just really can pack on extra pounds quickly with overdoing it just a little bit. I weigh myself every day right now because if I go a week without doing it the numbers easily creep upward.

So watching what i eat more carefully...easy to do when you are at home and able to control your portions and exactly what you eat. Yesterday was a test as we headed out to my favorite overindulgence-prone trap of a sushi restaurant. I didn't order a drink and only ate 8 pieces of sushi while loading up on broccoli and salad from my kids bento box (which he was not going to finish anyway). So stayed within my calorie budget....phew!!

Hey MICHELLEOTM, those are all good ideas. I was feeling disspirited but I think this was a good lesson. I thought losing weight was going to be a piece of cake, so is putting it right back on apparently :) So paying more attention to what I eat and not just on exercise.

Hi Jyerra - I feel ya on sabotaging with celebration. On the one hand, we're supposed to celebrate the small milestones, right? But how do we celebrate if not with food and drink? I have not found a good solution yet. This time around, I might try celebrating every 2 lbs with something that complements the weight loss - a mani/pedi? A massage? New running shoes? Expensive, yes. But better than sabotaging myself with a hunk of chocolate cake and too much champagne.

Ok so I royally blew it!! I had worked out more than usual this week, incorporated weights into my regimen and the scale showed me by friday that I had lost a pound. So what do I do, celebrate. So long story short, a weekend of Sushi, martinis, pineapple upside down cake and no exercise resulted in missing pound returning and then some :( Aaaargh.

Hi Everyone, Happy friday! This is my first week on Sparkpeople and so far I love it!!. I have started working out more consistently ever since I have been tracking my workouts and food here. I have always enjoyed doing intervals on my treadmill but am now incorporating some upper body and lower body dumbell workouts. So far no change on my scale other than the random daily 1 lb fluctuation but hanging in there.

I'm having trouble continuing to watch what I eat and exercise. I cheat too much with food. I have been watching my diet for about 7 years and only have about 5 pounds left to lose. I have been lighter, but I gained it back. These final 5 pounds are very stubborn. I am back with SparkPeople to get the extra motivation to stick to it. emoticon emoticon

So, what's everyone's biggest obstacle to your goal and how are you going to tackle it?
Mine is mindless eating (when stressed) and lack of sleep.
To some extent it's out of my control (when my 2-year old gets an asthma attack, it's two days of hanging in there until it's over), but I will make every effort to keep things in check when everyone is healthy.

you are probably exchanging fat for muscle. I know it is frustrating when the numbers don't look how you want them too, but keep staying the course!

Hey there! This is my first time posting so I hope that I am in the right place...

I started tracking my calories and going back to the gym for the last 2-3 weeks. I have been staying within my calorie target and working out for at least 45 minutes, five days per week, combining the elliptical, running, and strength training. So far I have gained 1/2 a pound and I am feeling so frustrated....

I know weight loss can be slow and should be gradual, but in the past I have seen a loss of a pound or two (or even more) in the first few weeks of the same diet. Is this just because I am over 30 now??? Is there something that I am missing or doing wrong??? If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!

Thanks :)
Katie

Hello everyone!
I've decided I am finally determined to lose the last ten. I've been saying that for the last five years and I'm 1. sick of saying it and 2. sick of my belly flab. My main vice is food. I love to eat. I love exercising so I'm hoping I can amp that up and reduce my portions and snack grazing (another culprit) and be successful. The weekends are the hardest!

Hi TimTam,
My husband quit smoking about six years ago. It took a few tries but he finally did it by going "cold turkey." At first, he ate a bunch of Jolly Ranchers which eventually hurt his teeth becuase of all the sugar. Then, he started running with me and hasn't looked back. If you're able to (no knee problems, etc.) I'm a major advocate of running. If running isn't an option, I would recommend any kind of exercise! Good luck! You can do it!

Happy New Year and hello to Gen and all who are connected to this thread!

Well, my 20 year HS reunion came and went. I splurged and worked out with a trainer twice a week for three weeks before and felt great for the event. However, that was September and now we are well into January...different story :) I have decided to track my food in a diary - but really hated writing down the three drinks I had at the Wild hockey game last night. Oops! I have been going to spin class a few times a week and I do Zumba, too (not pretty, but it burns a lot of calories and is fun). I used to run but have a bum knee, but I know running would be the most effective way to drop body fat. Our health club is hosting a challenge and I signed up. Wish me luck! How are y'all doing today? I will start checking in because I also need support.
Have a great day!

MNTWINSMOM3, I've used this page a few times to lose weight and have been successful quite quickly every time. I get really inspired to see 'my team' lose weight every week and I'm sure I share their enthusiasm for each of their little accomplishments. Seeing others that are cutting calories too makes you feel like you're not alone, and seeing others who don't want to work out but suck it up and do it anyway, kind of kicks your tail and motivates you. I was always really proud to report weight loss with the others on Monday mornings.

you can keep your tim tams, I never was a fan of those. I have other vices!

Everyone is different, but what i do in those times is use a food diary. I wouldn't necessarily use the one on this site as the page seems so bogged down by scrolling graphics and advertising that it's slow, I use fitday.com. Firstly when you start to track what you're eating it forces to you pay attention. Am I the only person who can sit with 10 pringles in their hand and suddenly wonder where I put my pringles down?! Secondly, once you start to track things you'll realize the calorie content. Coke is worth every single calorie, it's absolutely devine. The kid's candy that's 'just ok' is something to immediately stop snacking on when you find out you gobbled down 300 calories worth without chewing. Anyway good luck, I'd love to hear what works/ed for you.

I seem to come back to this site once a year to lose weight that creeps up. It's been successful every time, partly because I'm spurred on by seeing the daily success of others and it's a good reminder to stay on track.

Hi TimTam - my DH quit smoking a few years ago. At first, he ate the movie-theatre style boxes of Hot Tamales, Milk Duds, etc. He ate at least 2 boxes a night. He did gain a few pounds (no doubt from the candy, haha) but it was what he had to do to fully quit smoking, and not just make it a temporary quit. Learning how to permanently quit was worth a couple of pounds and the candy is what got him through the first few weeks. He eventually began the P90X program to fill his time in the evenings and drinks decaf coffee to wind down. When he snacks, he eats baked tostitos and salsa or vegetables and homemade dip w/nonfat sour cream and onion soup packet. It's crunchy and low in calories/fat. He also eats the tiny, individual size Haagen-Daz ice cream cups. I think they're around 1/2 cup of ice cream each. It's not low-fat, but it's great portion control when you just need to have something!!! Congrats to you - quitting is NOT easy and you should be very proud!

Helllo everyone I'm new and amazed to see how comprehensive and supportive the spark people community is.
I'm trying to keep up my NY's resolution of a healthy lifestyle. I've managed to start exercising and have even given up smoking! But without the cigarettes I'm struggling with mindless snacking as something to do and eating almost half my daily calorie intake with snacks.

Anyone got any tips?? :)

Hello all! I am new here and am trying to lose a few before my 20 year high school reunion. I love seeing everyone's weight loss ticker. Good for you! This is day number 1 for me, so I am looking for encouragement and ideas. After spending the summer at the cabin (exactly 60 days), I am attempting to "undo" the damage I have sustained by eating and drinking whatever I wanted the entire time up North. So...adios, potato salad, hot dogs, and margaritas (except for Skinny Margaritas) and hola, to this team!

Superzuber, I agree with you, I changed my range to 1400 to 1700. I find that at the moment I average at about 1600. I shall see if that gets me towards my goal and will adjust if it doesn't.
I am still so new to this. I know that my weak spot will be in about 2 weeks time (or at least it has been before)
so far, tracking my food and knowing what kind of evening snack I can eat is really helpful. much better than just knowing an amount of point, i can actually know if I should eat protein, carbs, or just fruit!

to NDAVIS223,
I try to use both weight loss and looks as a way to judge my progress, for muscle weighs more than fat. a preson weighing 62kg like me could be a bit wobbly, like I am, or very toned and muscled, which I would prefer to be!
If you build on muscle mass quickly, then indeed maybe strength training isn't the best or you!

it's tough, isn't it, when there is no time and limited exercise choice!
How about walk walk walk, everywhere you need to go!
DVDs can be helpful, though at my place, it is near impossible as the little ones just jump on me.
Someone once told me the Step exercise technique was launched by a mother who lost weight climbing up and down stairs. Get some good motivational music on and step up and down (just the lower step or really up and down) (if you have done classes of that type before, you will have an idea of what you can do to keep it 'fun'.)
all the best, i hope you find ways to execise.

Chit chat ...

I lost 6 pounds! It took me forEVER but I did it. I wasn't doing any strength training though. The last few weeks I've included strength/resistance into my workout routine and I've put on 5 pounds!! Arrrgh... Now what? Right now the plan is to work on endurance training. I don't know if I'm crazy but I was kind of thinking of doing the Camp Pendleton half marathon. I think it's in September? So, hopefully training for a half marathon will get those stinking unwanted pounds back off!

General chit chat- Discovered the fitness DVD bonanza that is Netflix- a fresh one in the mailbox whenever I need it! I am still on those last few pounds. I must enjoy loosing weight, because I keep gaining a few pounds whenever I get near my goal, just so I can loose it again.. It isn't like I have unrealistic expectations.

The best inspiration is not to outdo others, but to outdo ourselves.

Everyday Chit Chat.... here goes.

So I went over my calorie intake yesterday. Was this dissappointing? Yes. However, I can proudly pat myself on the back today. You see, last night I wanted cookies. Bad. Not just a couple. I wanted to eat half of a package of Oreo's dipped in milk. I wanted it bad. But I didn't eat the cookies. Sure, I went over my calorie intake yesterday, but can you imagine how far over I would have been if I had eaten the cookies. And I am so proud of my self control.

So I think it was a pretty good day after all.

DVD's are lifesavers, Farheena27a. And since you've only been doing cardio, you need to incorporate strength training to tone up. Since you're bored of the treadmill (I would be too), find something that does both...circuit training! Jillian Michael's workouts are all circuit training so that'd be a great place to start. You could also find something you love to do. There's workout videos where you dance, or even hula hoop! It's all a matter of finding something you can stick with. Visit your library and see what they have to start. Also I believe Netflix has some as well.

Hey there guys,

I lost 60 lbs almost 10 years back, and have managed to maintain my weight at 132lbs till now. I gained 30-40 lbs during my two pregnancies and it took me a year and half to get this weight off me each time. this required diet control and 30 min of treadmill 6 days a week. I even managed to go below 130 lbs i.e till 126lbs, but always seem to regain :( till I stop at 132lbs

My problem is that i still feel bulky, my abs are totally loose & flabby (since the first time i lost weight). I feel unfit, dont feel like working out on treadmill anymore which is the only form of excercise available/convenient for me. I am a full time working mother and hardly get time in mornings or evenings to workout. Even if i take out time, i cant feel the difference anymore, as if i've come to a complete halt.

I need something to motivate me, something that is easy, conveninet and less time consuming and more effective ;). What do I do?

Hello everyone!!! I have been soooo busy and haven't been able to get on the message board for a while, but I have been doing good.

Weenerdogmom, trust me this program works!!! When I really follow the program, and track what I eat (honestly) and work out I really do loose weight!!! HOWEVER, when I start to cheat myself by not honestly tracking my food or skip my workouts ... I don't loose anything ... sometimes I even gain. SO my advice, is ... if you eat it, track it! No matter what it is ... track it =)

My new goal is to check this board at least once a day, I am sorry I didn't reply sooner weenerdogmom ... that was very rude of me ... very sorry!!

SO HAPPY to hear that everyone is doing good! Its so nice to meet people that have the same goals, and have very happy fur babies! Weenerdogmom, my Harley needs to loose a few pounds too, so as soon as we get above 0 we are walking for at least an hour a day! Right now, she only gets a 20 minute walk ... its just to darn cold out there! Well, I gotta go! Here's to a great week!!!!

I have two pekingese :)

I sometimes feel the same way, that 1200 is really low. But then when I run a report, Spark estimates I burn around 1600/day from metabolism alone so that's only a 400-100 calorie deficit from food alone.

Since you work out so much, I'd say that 1800 probably works for you, but check out the reports (I think it's the daily deficit one) and it'll tell you how much they estimate you burn w/out exercise so you get a better idea of your deficit.

Yay 30-something ladies with furry kids! 33 year-old with a Boxer checking in.

Hey, I was wondering if you guys think the calorie targets for us are too low? Mine says I'm supposed to aim for 1200-1500/day! I want to start knawing on my left arm I'm so hungry.

I go over a few days per week -- up to 1800/day -- and I don't think it's a bad thing. I feel like I need the calories because I work out six days/week. Plus, in the first two weeks I've already lost 4 lbs, so do I really need to be within 1200-1500/day?

Warm day today. :)

Not much to report. We're boring over here. :)

I have an appointment on Monday though to demand they give me antibiotics. Still congested, still have a runny nose and still sneezing. 4 months of being sick is getting a bit ridiculous. So if the antibiotics won't work, I'll have the idiot dr's refer me to a specialist.

Hi there, HAPPY2CAMP! Thanks for your great message! I love that we really are in the same phase of life, including our four-legged children and even the same age & a May birthday, LOL! My furbaby :) is a beautiful long-haired dachshund who, not coincidentally, is sporting a little bit of extra fluff these days like her mother. (Same eating habits, ya think?! Too many snacks!)

How long have you been at this? Have you been able to hang in there long enough to see anything that gets results? I welcome any tips! I've gained about 12 lbs since I've been married (7 years)...pretty bothered by that, I'll admit. I try to laugh about it but it's actually been an emotionally painful transition, to realize you aren't who you once were, at least, your body isn't...

Well it really helps hearing from people like you who are in the same place in life; I laughed when you said you'd been "off for a few days - ok, a week"... I already see that pattern in me too and I just started! (More water, less salt- that would do me a lot of good too.) Thanks for welcoming me on here, I really appreciate it... Enjoy your awesome doggie... I hear the same thing, that labs are a handful in the beginning with all that energy but then they mature into pretty much The World's Greatest Dog. Wishing you (and all of us!) the best of luck in all this!

Welcom WEENERDOGMOM!! I'm 35 (until May), married with no kids either! I take it from your name that you do have a furbaby =) me too! I have a 2 year old lab ... waiting for the "good, calm lab" that you see on TV etc ... I am "TOLD" that she will be that way in another year, lol! Regardless ... she is my baby and I love her to pieces ... rowdy, hyper and otherwise!

Sorry, been off for a few days (ok, a week) but am back now. I have been sooo busy at work, but I know that is not a good excuse, so enough of the excuses, its time to get serious. I keep bouncing between 144 and 142 ... I want the numbers to stop (well ... I want them to go down, lol) what is going on? Diet hasn't changed at all ... maybe I need to drink more water and watch the sodium intake. Yeah???

Enjoying my 5 day weekend (I took Friday & Tuesday off). Attempted to go fishing yesterday but it was just too windy. Tried today before it started raining but it was too cold. No fish either day. Got a new video game that's sucking away all my time too. :)

Wednesday I'll be done with my two weeks of herbal remedies to cure the sinus infection so I can start working out Thursday. I'm missing out on this perfect running weather!

Hi there! I just joined up...I'm a 35-year-old married girl with no children (sigh) who has been looking at recent pictures of myself and thinking, UGHH..! (What is it about looking at a photo that makes you go, Holy Cow, I couldn't tell from the mirror! LOL.) I told myself back when I was a stick-thin 20-something who ate whatever I wanted that if the day came when things started to go soft I'd start to show some discipline... well lordy has that day arrived. Be gone, muffin-top, and full face..! Come back, firm body! I hope I don't lose enthusiasm or get discouraged too quickly 'cause this is really important to me, not just for appearance's sake but to know I'm doing right by my body. I appreciate the accountability and encouragement offered by you guys on here, and I look forward to not feeling like I'm doing this alone !!

I'm so glad the holiday season is about over. I'm so wiped! Three hour drive to Seattle to see the BF's family for an hour, another two hours north to BC for my grandparents, aunt, uncle and mom. Stayed there for 3 days then another five hour drive to Penticton to visit my dad's family. Then a pretty 4 hour drive home through the Okanogan Valley. I have a pile of boxes in my living room I get to burn in the fire pit today. :D

Weighed myself this morning to see the damage I did....and I didn't gain a thing!!! I controlled my eating while others were pigging out. I'm proud of myself!

Thanks for the blender recipe Happy2Camp. I have a food processor I can also use as a blender but have never done anything in it. Just not sure what to blend together you know?

Hello everyone! I am fairly new to the message boards, but was reading in here and thought I would chime in =) my favorite kitchen gadget for smoothies (and other foods) is my little blender. Its very similar to the bullet you see on the infomercials(the one that has several cup attachments). I have my smoothie every morning =) and I love, love, love it. I think we got it at Khols. I also want to add, that I love how happy and supportive this group is!!! Oh, and I wanted to share my breakfast smoothie with you guys since we are talking about smoothies ... 1 cup of spinach (don't worry you don't even taste it. 1 stalk of celery, 1 cup of frozen blueberries, 1/2 a banana (I eat the other half while its all blending together) a little orange juice to get the right consistancy, and sometimes I add a scoop of protien powder if I am not going to be eating alot of protien that day. Its really, really good and you get 4 or 5 servings of fruits and veggies (if you add the organge juice).

HI, I found the best sugar substitute! It's all natural and made from chicory root. It's the closest thing to real sugar, but has 0 glycemic index AND it doesnt have that bitter after taste that Stevia has.
Check it out! Whenever i'm craving sweetness, I add a little to fruit, or plain yogurt and it's great for cooking!

Ready or not it is Wednesday. I really, really, really, really, really, really, really want a soda. I wish I could crack one open to celebrate a response well drafted. That sucker is worth $30,000 literally.

Thanks for the heads up on the scam. I always wondered if those things even work. I too am getting ready for back to school shopping. I hope you are able to stop the shipment and get your money back.

No one can do it for me.

I didn't know where else to post this message, but I thought I should share my impulse purchase of Acai/bromolite diet wonder. I was reading an ad from this mom in boulder who swears up and down about how great it is and endorsed by oprah and dr. oz and trust me and yada yada yada. so I signed up to get the free trials, just pay shipping and handling...and then got this feeling that maybe I just did something really stupid and payments are going to be deducted when I have school clothes and supplies barely budgeted in for next month...and then thought to read the fine print. well, they will charge your credit cards with the full price. and there are testimonies all over the web about how women are getting ripped off month after month, even after trying to cancel. just make sure you don't get all carried away with your fantasies about what these supplements might mean to you before you read all you can about it...

Hi Camette, We have a Bella seomthing or other and I LOVE, LOVE it! It is just like the bullet but I think i picked it up on sale for $30. Both my husband and I use it everyday. It is perfect for throwing in some ice, water, and your protein powder and only takes about 20 seconds to blend it together. Even better, it is so small that it sits on my counter all the time and doesn't get in the way. I would totally recommend something like that.

Dang work! Today my boss brought in Starbuck's goodies for a team meeting. I was able to pass them up, but it was hard. I have also stayed away from our "junk drawer" luckily I am off tomorrow where there are no goodies to tempt me.

Hi everyone! I have read all of your chats and skimmed through some other message boards and I still have one question. How do you eat all of the calories that you are supposed to? I know that seems like an odd question but I have been doing weight watchers for 2 1/2 yrs so when I started spark people I was trying to keep within my "WW" point range along with keeping track of my calories here. That's when I found that if I eat all of my allotted calories, fat grams, etc I go way over my points range for the day. That in turn makes me feel guilty for eating. How do I get past that? I eat alot of vegetables and fruit which don't always have alot of calories.

Thanks

Brandy
