You ladies see to be on your way. A journey such as ours isn't easy, nor is it going to be quick, but taking it one day at a time is what keeps me moving. I had to learn the hard lesson of forgiving myself for mistakes and flubs that I make along the way and keep reminding myself that perfection isn't possible, nor is it necessary to get me healthy. I don't get to restrictive because sooner or later I am gonna need room to change and evolve and the most important thing is to realize that what works for one of us isn't going to work for all of us so don't get hung up on one thing, but rather ensure that you allow for change if your body just isn't reacting to the efforts. Best wishes to all of you.

Hey there...welcome to SparkPeople! I started out on SparkPeople 1/1/12 and I weighed exactly 300. My highest weight ever was 315 though. I now weigh 268 (as of last Sunday, I will weigh in again tomorrow) I stick to my calorie goal that SparkPeople has set for me and try to burn at least 3500 calories a week plus strength train 2x's a week. I am actively working on sleeping 7+ hours a night and stressing less and enjoying more. I'm not perfect but we started out in about the same spot and if you'd ever like to talk or ask me any questions you are welcome to :) emoticon

Okay so I am 20yrs old and 320+lbs; I want to get down to around 190, I know I am not built to be a twig but I want to look and feel healthy. So I am on a mission to find not only others who are willing are around the same weight and wanting to lose obviously the 100lbs or more. I am also looking for possibly people who have been in this position and what they have done to lose the weight and what worked for them what didnt. I dont want to just lose the weight I want to get rid of it completely and maintain a healthy weight. If any of you want to join me I am planing on beginning my workouts etc tomorrow.
