Feeling lost is something that most of us experience while making this journey to a healthier us. I am sorry that you grandfather made that comment. People often don't think that comments about us being fat hurt cause clearly we are aware of how much we weigh, but it hurts non the less. Please don't let the fear of the unknown stop you from moving forward. I had a similar fear just a few weeks ago and wrote a blog. You should read it. Through writing down my fear of the unknown I was able to gain some clarity.

Here is the link:

If nothing else I hope it reassures you that you aren't alone in many of the struggles you will face. emoticon emoticon remember this journey may not be easy or quick, but that it will be worth it cause we are so worth it!

I live with my grandparents with my daughter. we are getting her room together and i tried to get by grandpa in the hallway and i knock over a wallhanging. and he starts yelling at me saying "Your bigger than a doorway!"
some how, that one line hurt me so bad. he wont even remember it in an hour, but i think i'll live with it for a long time. im starting to feel, no matter how much weight i lose i will always feel fat and see myself as fat. always afraid of being to heavy or too wide. will anything change between what i think and feel now to how i might think or feel then? if i can get to a then. I feel so lost...
