Welcome to the Team!! No matter how long you have left in our team, you're still a 20 something now :))

Just like you I have quit before, and come back (and quit and come back...) it's common for a lot of people, so don't fret! Give it your best this time and take it one small step at a time.

If you're looking for a buddy, try searching for groups/teams from your area. There are also teams out there for those who suffer from pain such as yours in your ankle/foot/knee and can possibly point you in the direction of some exercises to start out with.

You can do this!

Hi everyone! I guess I'm going to have to move to the 30 Somethings group in a few months. Oh no! Lol.
Well, I'm not actually new here. I quit for a while, out of frustration, but now I'm starting over. I'm starting at 255 lbs, and I'd like to get down to 150 lbs. One of my doctor was concerned enough about my weight to start me on Phentermine, (an appetite suppressant). She also decided I was developing insulin resistance, so she started me on Metformin. Supposedly it should help me lose weight, too. I've been watching what I eat, but I'm finding it really hard to motivate myself to exercise. I really need a workout buddy, but I don't have one at the moment. I also get a lot of foot, ankle and knee pain when I try to exercise, so that makes it just that much harder.

Well, that's where I am at the moment. I look forward to making this work, this time. Good luck, everyone!
