I have a real scale, and i keep it, ready for this, next to the fridge. I dont have room in my bathroom for it, and the kitchen is the only other hard floor surface in the apartment. It's a heck of a deterrant if i go looking for snacks. It glares at me and calls me mean dirty names if i even try to go into the fridge for something other than water emoticon

I used to weigh myself every single day. Now, I may weigh myself a few times a week, but I only track it one day a week. If you already know you tend to obsess over it, maybe hold off buying a scale for now.

I do have a scale but I keep it in the garage. This way I am not standing on it every time I go into the bathroom.

Right now, I also use my Wii Fit as a scale, but I do have a real scale in the house as well.

As it stands now, I do weigh myself every day. It was a tough decision to make, since I've gotten quite obsessive about the number on the scale in the past. However, watching my progress over time has helped me to learn what kinds of things cause me to fluctuate... I just have to remind myself to NOT get upset when the number goes up, and I tell myself that as long as I keep doing what I'm doing, that number is just one of many reference points for me.

I don't have a real scale.

I use my wii fit balance board. and i weigh once a week or once every 2 weeks.

I don't really care for an actual scale, it doesn't matter what the scale says, it matters more if my clothes getting bigger and bigger.

I don't know where you are in your journey, but i personally would have something to weigh with, at least once every two weeks.

At some point I will have to start weighing myself at home on at least a monthly basis (maybe weekly once I actually start losing more). I'm not sure if I should buy a scale now or if I should wait a while. In the past when I've had a scale I've been somewhat obsessive with weighing myself. We all know weight can fluctuate from hour to hour and day to day so weighing yourself everytime you go to the bathroom is not the best idea. So I don't know if I should buy a scale now or wait. Any advice?
