I LOVE LOVE LOVE Punch Out! It's a fun game but really works out the arms and core. I feel I get more of an exercise with this boxing game than with the Wii Fit Plus - also love the hula hooping really works those buttocks!

I didn't think you could use WII Fit if you weighed more than 250. Is this not correct?

I have Your Shape and Walk It Out! Both are really fun. With Walk It Out it's more of a game and before you know it you've walked 3 miles.

I have been using the Biggest Loser for about a week and I am really enjoying it. It doesn't count calories very well, but I wear a heart monitor and that counts it for me. I feel like I really get a good workout and am having fun doing it. Well as much fun as you can have working out haha. I have heard good things about the Wii Fit Plus. I have the original Wii Fit and haven't been very impressed.

I have Wii Fit, EA Active, Biggest Loser, and Just Dance.

I really like all of them. I use Biggest Loser for mostly strength training, and then I do Just Dance for cardio. It's not really a fitness game, but its fun and gets my heart rate up! EA Active is good, but I like the Wii Fit better mostly because there are more options.

Biggest Loser can be done with or without the Wii Fit Board. Gives a good workout!

I really want to try Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum! has anyone tried this?? I'm assuming it would be really hard, because she's psycho! haha...but that's why I love her! haha

My wife and I have been using EA Active for about 2 weeks now. I feel like it gives a more accurate calorie count than Wii Fit Plus does. When I use Wii Fit Plus I find myself saying, "There's no way I burned that many calories", but when I use EA Active I always say, "surely I burned more than that". :) So I suggest Wii EA Active.

I love my wii fit plus! Wii fit is good too, but the Plus keeps up with how many calories you burn, which comes in handy. The exercises I like most are the boxing, advanced step, and island cycling. I burn about 200 calories in 30 minutes of these and other wii fit activities, and they're a lot of fun. I haven't tried any of the other workout games, but I would definitely recommend getting wii fit plus.

Hi guys,

I really enjoyed reading this thread. I have Wii Fit Plus, but the other games look really good. Which one of the others uses the Wii Fit board?

It's like $400 but what you get with it is so worth it. Plus it's only $2.95 for shipping. I'm sure you can overnight ship it. I haven't done it yet. I should get my taxes next Friday and plan on ording on A.S.A.P.

Carpe Diem- Thanks for the advice! I might go out and get it then, just to have a bit of variety!

I have now done 4 workouts this week on the personal trainer game.

I have discovered a few things about it. It is difficult to do some of the leg workouts if you are at a high weight when you start. The band that is supposed to wrap around your upper thigh will not fit on mine. I did find a solution in placing the nun-chuck in my pocket facing down instead of in the band. This works for most exercises. The few that I cannot do right now because of this, I just replace with something that I can do.

The running is actually one of my favorite exercises on it, which is crazy because I always thought I hate to run! Anyway, it's definitely a great workout and I'm glad that I have it. I definitely feel better now that I'm getting my workouts in. I feel more energized and I can literally feel my muscles getting stronger.

I like the Biggest Loser and yes it does have exercises that use the Wii Fit board but most of the exercise game are compatible with the board but you don't have to have it. There are challenges that are on the Biggest loser that don't require the board and had me about to fall in the floor from feeling over worked so the board is not a must to get a good workout so it is something that you can weight on but it is an accessory that can add some difference to your Wii workouts.

Well, I definitely enjoyed the personal trainer one. I haven't had a chance to use it again because my legs are STILL sore. They're getting better, though. I'm shooting for my next workout tomorrow.

I definitely want the Wii fit, but I'm looking at the biggest loser, too. I actually considered getting just The Biggest Loser, but I was told you have to have the Wii fit board for it to work as well as it could, so I guess I still have to buy Wii Fit.

The best workout is My Fitness Trainer ... the first time I tried it I started curing out the trainers lOl ... but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gold's Gym. If I had a bad day at work or wherev, I put this on and imagine all the annoying people and beat them up as I go through my workouts ... It's a GREAT game.

hey guys, glad to hear about all the people adding the Wii to their exercise.
Just a tip the Wii Fit board is rated to 600lbs before it will snap, so as a tip, if you want to exercise on it put something soft under it like a gym mat or folded towel and it will measure your weight at a much lower weight so you can atleast use the board.

I have a ton of games including:

Biggest Loser
Jillian Michaels 2010
EA Active
Wii Fit Plus
Gold's Gym Cardio
Dance Dance Revolution
We Cheer 2

And probably more but that's all I can think of right now. My favorite is definitely EA Active. You can choose light, medium or hard workout. I use a heart rate monitor and this game keeps it in the zone. It has strength and cardio. I love DDR as well and usually do jumping jacks in between songs in workout mode to keep my heart rate up.

I have Wii Fit, The Biggest Loser, EA Sports Active, and My Personal Trainer. I have used all the game for exercising and just for entertainment but when I am looking to get the most out of my workout I stick to The Biggest Loser, EA Sports Active, and My Personal Trainer. (These three games have me sweating and breathing like I was in the gym or outside)

I have a wii and I borrowed my bil's wii fit and loved it. When we come back from Disney we are def. going to buy it. Ia m going to have to look up that walking game. I loved free stepping when we had the wii fit. I could cry, watch Biggest Loser, and step at the same time.

i LOVE my wii fit!!! The original game is fun but the wii fit plus is even better. The extra games are so much fun and work you out so much more. I love being able to work up a good sweat playing games. I also love the my routine section on wii fit plus. it lets you customize your workouts!!

I know I can do this. I just have to prove it to myself and everybody else!

I really wanted to get the Wii fit but every store near us is sold out of them. I did my first workout with the personal trainer today and it kicked my butt!! My thighs are so sore right now. I really enjoyed it, though and I think it will be a good way for me to keep in shape because one of my big obstacles to it is when the weather isn't conducive to being outside I get discouraged.

I plan to get the Wii fit as soon as we can find one!

I have wii fit and do 20 mins of free step and then 10 mins rhythm kung fu and 10 mins free run plus for a total of 40 mins and spend 20 mins doing hula hoop, the adding game (you use your butt and hips to bump the numbers to add to 15 or whatever) and whatever other games I feel like that day

I am thinking of getting Walk it out and Biggest Loser too

hey ya,

i got a wii aswell i use the wii sports and wii sports resort at the moment (as im too heavy to use wii fit and the board emoticon but i have it for the day i drop into the weight range emoticon ) I have set up two Mii players for myself one for the right hand so i play tennis with that hand then switch and play with my other mii as a left handed player. I jog on the spot while playing. i turn down the sound onthe tv and play some really upbeat music and dance around and play bowling at the same time. i step side to side while playing table tennis like i was really playing for real. I use a step up board and step up and down continously while playing cycling (on wii resort) that way im moving my arms and legs at the same time..Its a GREAT WORKOUT!!.. My fiancee and i have challenges every saturday night, its a cheep date for us lol, plus we get to spend time togeter having fun and getting healthy.

So I have discovered that when extremely cold weather hits I lose motivation to get outside and exercise. I used to think hot weather would discourage me more, but it is definitely cold weather!!!

So with much discussion, my husband and I have invested in a Wii...while it will obviously be for entertainment purposes as well it is mostly for exercise purposes.

Along with the console, we bought Wii sports and Personal Trainer (EA I think). Anyway, I haven't gotten to try it yet but does anyone have any suggestions for exercising with Wii? I'm really excited to try it out tomorrow!
