AMYLOUJR - I know how hard it is to stay motivated! It is so easy and so comfortable to slip back into old habits. It's what we know, and it's what feels good to us. But really, look where that got us: not feeling good about ourselves.

The best advise I can give you is: just do it. For one week (starting tomorrow?), force yourself to follow your plan. Stay in your calorie range, get out and walk, go to the gym, etc. ONE WEEK. When you feel like you want to quit, just tell yourself, "I can do anything for a week." By next Friday, you will feel wonderful about yourself! Write your feelings down, and read over how you felt when you followed your plan! Use that as your motivation!

Just an idea, and it could be the jump-start that you wanted!

Good luck in the weigh-in tomorrow. I think I've probably gained this week. I was bad on Monday and Tuesday. Oh well.

I am very frustrated with myself. I just can't seem to stay motivated for longer than a few days. I ended up at the bar all 3 nights last weekend, ate Mexican food Sunday night...it just goes on and on. I haven't been to the gym since last Thursday. My car is in the shop probably until Friday getting some body work done, so I won't be able to go the rest of the week either. And then I work my other job Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is just not enough time in the day! Of course, it wouldn't be that big of a deal if I would just eat better. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to manage that right now either. My friend is really motivated right now. She called me last night with all of her plans. Why does it seem like when I'm really sticking to the program, she isn't? Then when she is being really good, I have no desire to do it. Ugh, I am so frustrated! Wait, I said that already. Well, that's how frustrated I am. Help!

Hello, all! Time for a check in! I hope this week is going well!

So far, I'm kinda disappointed in myself. On Monday I had Mexican food for dinner (hey, it was Cinco de Mayo!!), and yesterday I went a hair over my calorie count as well.

Nothing to beat myself up over, but I could have done better!

At least I made it to the gym! Really pushed myself yesterday, and I'm pretty sore today!

How is everyone else doing?

AMYLOUJR, congrats on hitting a "new low!" That's great, and it seems like you are really motivated right now! Just keep that up and you will be 20 pounds lighter before you know it!

For me it was kind of like a good news bad news scenario. According to my old scale, I am down a pound this week, but I bought a new digital scale this morning (cue the scary music). It really isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but the new scale is a pound heavier than the old one. So, I lost, but the ticker doesn't move!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and I can't wait to hear how everyone did this week.

I missed my WW meeting today, because I had to be in to work too early. I did weigh myself at home, but my scale is always so different from the scale at the meetings. I am back to my lowest weight from a few weeks ago now, so I feel like I can finally start losing some real weight. I've been bouncing back and forth at basically the same level forever. I just want to get to the next "decade," if that makes any sense. Would love to lose 20lbs by summer. My fingers are crossed!

Looking forward to reading about everyone's success this week! Have a great weekend!

I am definitely in. We will weigh in tomorrow :-)

It's getting there lol, we just need more people. Some people are going to try to be around from 7-8pm west coast time, 9-10 cst and 10-11pm est. Hopefully quite a few can be online and we chat about how things are going and all that.

Sounds great! I need some more accountability. And, I go to Weight Watchers on Friday, so I'll be weighing in anyway. It would definitely be nice if this team got a little more active. Thanks for the idea!

Hello, Quad City ladies! I was thinking that we should get this board up and moving!

Maybe we could check in every Wednesday (or whenever you feel like you need support/need to vent), and everyone weighs in on Friday! It will help us stay accountable, and it feels really good to log a loss after working so hard all week!

So what do ya say? weigh-in tomorrow?
