I used to watch it for a while, in the beginning. Not any more.

I haven't watched it in a very long time.

If it were a full time "job" as it is with the challengers and you were supervised by some of the world's toughest trainers, nutritionists etc., we would all lose weight BUT (and I have a whole lot of junk in my trunk), away from that environment of extreme training and setting to make you succeed, we would mostly all gain it back as well.

Left to our own devices, some would still succeed (as evidenced by the many who go home and still lose) but many would stall or gain back what they lost because they didn't and won't adopt it as a lifestyle. We are creatures of habit.

I don't have a television, but I've seen the show once. I wouldn't want to put myself in such a negative environment. The stress would cause me to gain weight.

Patience. Balance. Moderation.

I used to watch it and I used to want to be on the show but then I thought I wouldn't want to go to hell or jail for beating the $hit out of Jillian she's a nut

I'm making it one day at a time

They couldn't pay me enough money to be on the biggest loser! I used to watch it sometimes but haven't in a very soon time.

I don't watch too much TV because I feel like I am watching other people live their lives, instead of living mine.

I do have to admit that I will watch "Heartland" however! :)

There are parts about BL that I like. It can be a very inspiring show. But like Paula, I don't like it when they tempt them with donuts or something. I guess its supposed to show us that the struggle is always there...but it just seems like its more for entertainment. I wish they'd show more about how to shop healthy, cook healthy and eat healthy. I'd rather see that than to see them sweating, crying and puking in the gym, doing workouts that 99% of the viewers can't (or won't) do. But its mostly a good show. I wouldn't want to be a contestant on it, though.

I had never watched it before joining the BLC here on SparkPeople for several rounds. I tried watching it one time, but just couldn't make myself like it. The episode I watched they were trying to tempt people with these shelves of doughnuts, and I couldn't quite get the point of that other than for audience entertainment.

I did, however, enjoy participating in the BLC challenge rounds here on SP -- the past two rounds I've taken a break in order to participate in another challenge.

Do you watch the Biggest Loser? Would you go on the show if offered the opportunity?
