I have to do something to jumpstart too! Lost it all with a birthday party in Oct Nov and Dec plus the Holidays. I was doing so well before all this.

I'd really like to discuss and encourage each other here, if others are doing it or could be encouraged to do it. The challenge is great (I've done it before), but the team is so large that it is overwhelming to even try to read what others post let alone post myself. Anyone up to it?

I wanted to start on day 1, was all planned to do it even though I typically don't exercise on Sundays (day of rest and all), but I was sicker than I've been in years. I totally lost my voice above a whisper, and even that made my throat ache. I was a little better for day 2, but didn't want to push things. So, even though I still didn't feel 100%, I did cardio and the day 3 video (upper body) today. I figure I'll add an extra day 1 and day 2 to the end and still have it all the same.

I lost momentum in Oct, tried without a lot of success to get it back in Nov, and totally dropped things in Dec. I haven't stepped on the scale since Nov; I guess I'm a bit scared I've undone the progress I did in Aug and Sept. I'll weigh in tomorrow morning and see what it says. Anyway, my plan for January is to do 28 days (4 weeks) of some sort of exercise (the videos) each and every day, with 5 days of cardio added in too (I'll be shooting for around 30 minutes each of those days).

My goal/hope/prayer is that succeeding in this will jumpstart my momentum again and that by July (when I started in 2011) I can be down at least one shirt size. I work at the Sonlight curriculum booth at the Arizona homeschool convention each July, and the largest uniform shirt size they have is a 3x and it's been tight on me these last two years. I'd love to tell the Sonlight rep that she needs to bring me a 2x this year. I guess since the 3x is tight fitting into a 2x would be more than going down one size, but I think it's doable in the next 6 months.

Anyway, anyone else joining me?
