oh okay, thats cool. yes, i did like that about her; how she mentions do it or not do it if your body is okay with it. Its just a yoga pose, nothing to lose sanity over or whatever.

TOTALLY love that attitude. Will have to download more of her movies maybe check out her book or dvds.

awesome.

No problem. Tara is really good about keeping it about your body and how you feel. I've never heard her mention religion.

okay thanx so much. I had avoided yoga for a while because a lot of ppl associate it with Hinduism, but I might just try it for stretching again. and maybe i'll just alto the title to body circles or something, instead of 'sun salutations".

I do the sun salutation to warm my body back up. The drive home is long enough that my muscle cool down and I don't want to risk injury. They are also good at adding flexibility. I use yoga for most of my flexibility training. These are the stretches I am using most right now.

BD probably raises your heart rate up more because it is not an everyday movement. You are asking your body to move in ways it is not used to.

I stretch whatever we worked hard at class. Right now that is a lot of leg intensive moves so I focus on everything from feet to waist. Then when I get home before going to bed i do 5 sun salutation followed by specific stretches for those moves I am trying to do right now (splits and back bends).
