She has two circle skirts made out of chiffon or silk with the edges hemmed in the "lettuce leaf" style =) And then yes, she tucked em in at the hips to give definition!
Allot of Tribal dancers do this with the 25 yard tier skirts~ I love it!

It looks to me like a long skirt with a ruffle at the bottom and it is pulled up and tucked in on each side. See my photos.. I just posted one with a long red skirt. Mine does not have a ruffle at the bottom but some do and we pull them up and tuck them depending on the dance.

okay, I saw these skirts on this one dancer from youtube, her name is Cassandra fox. her dance is so beautiful, even though shes not totally famous. but her skirts are so gorgeous. they're very full skirts and theres this stuff on the sides of them, so they make your hip movements look extra nice.
