Hugs, Nola. I'm sure it's hard for both of you.

We made it to Olympia, WA, today - about 150-160 miles. Something like that. Traffic was really slow going through the three major cities along the interstate, so it took us about 5 hours. But we're in a decent hotel, and tomorrow we head to the coast - after a short visit to the college I attended a lifetime ago.

Maintenance is as much work as losing, but it has the advantage of allowing us to do it in cuter clothes - BESSHAILE

In the past week I have gotten up at 0600 and started right in on my exercises 5 days in a row. I am amazed I can function that early. Although some days, I just don't feel like it, I JUST DO it..kicks in. Tomorrow after I workout I am going to go grocery shopping and then work out in the yard if there is time before Radiation Tx. Today's Chemo was cancelled because his platelet count was 57 instead of at least 100. She said that that's the way the body says it needs rest. But he isn't doing the exercises and he is choking more now, although he tells them he's fine. He has lost 8 pounds so far, but they aren't too concerned about it yet. I try to encourage food, or at least the ensure, but he doesn't always want me to cook anything.

Maree, way to go with the workout and RD results. Obviously you are doing lots right! Have fun with the family this weekend.

Sunny we are all proud of you for maintaining for five years. Not an easy task for sure!
Jamir glad you have your car back . I hope your day goes smoothly.
Finally today I have an appointment for DH at the doctor. I am sure he will be referred to the Stroke Clinic. Yesterday he was finally starting to feel better. Also it has been five weeks since his arm surgery and he is feeling so much better. Finally after a year he has hardly any pain.
Things are improving here....

Just a flyby from me. I got here early to make up for all of the time that I had to take yesterday, so that I don't have to touch anymore vacation time. It looks to be a busy one for me.

Good morning. The generator tech is supposed to come by in a couple of hours for fall maintenance check, he had to postpone his last appointment. This afternoon I take Mom to the doc, I have reminded her 5 times and she keeps forgetting. I wish I knew how to help her remember.

Bess, a pampering day sounds wonderful!

The new Start Page doesn't have much on it. I switch to it for the extra points, then switch back every day.

Maree, you are doing great!

Nothing like an early Friday, Maree.

I'm off today for a "Friday" sort of thing too - my sister and I are going to a nearby resort for a spa day. And since I know after a day of luxury pampering, one is rarely in the mood to then get in a car and drive for an hour ... we're spending the night. Total decadence for us today. Be back on the regular Friday with a report.

Good morning!

It's my Friiiidaaay!! Hahahaha! I'm so excited for the weekend! I'm SO looking forward to spending time with DH, DD, SIL and DGD!!!

I had another official weigh in at the gym for the 6 week challenge. Percent body fat has dropped over THREE PERCENT, muscle mass has increased one percent since October 2. Lost lbs too but that is not counted for this challenge. Attendance at group training and the RD seminars, logging food all add points. I'll miss the one tonight since we'll be driving to DD 's. I'm just amazed at the fat loss in about three weeks, mostly in my waist. I should have saved my waist measurement when I started. Oh well.

Kellie, I did the same the other day with the new Start page. Not enough hours in the day. Sunny, I worked outside on "jungle" plants similar to your description last Sunday. I need another day to finish.

I'm running late--a gf came over with her estate planning documents last night and I got to bed too late. Plus I need to pack for the weekend and I'm traveling today. First Crossfit class--running, rowing and something else (I've forgotten).
