Jamirblaze, thinking of you and your friends. I have former students in the Orlando area, no idea of their orientation and whether or not they might have been there. Just so horrendous.

Dinner is sitting heavily in my stomach at the moment, so I'm drinking water - it was supposed to be a chicken and mushroom crepe, which I thought would be light. Was more like Asian stir-fried chicken and vegs in an empty French crepe. Just kind of weird, and heavier than I thought at the time.

Hi All, I am going to type more on spark people and eat less. I am struggling and have hurt my ankle. Because I hurt my ankle I need to find other ways to exercise than walking. My ankle hurts walking or standing for long periods of time. I will need to do more weight lifting activities. I need to have my ankle looked at by my doctor. I have been working and not able to go. Still in Phoenix for my DDs 40th birthday. They had a great weekend at a local resort wile I stayed with the DS.

This is has not been a good eating weekend. Being away from home is my downfall. Eating light tonight and going home tomorrow.

Why are we still letting people buy such devastating weapons? So sorry for all the friends and family who have lost loved ones.

Good morning team. I am shocked and saddened with the news from Orlando. What can one say.....it is so hard to understand people doing this. Jamirblase, I hope all your friends are o.k.
Had a great family weekend. We all appreciate the time our kids spend with us. I wish we could do this more often but thst is just the way it is. We make sure we do enjoy the times we do,have together.
I have another acupuncture appointment today. We will see if my shoulder feels any better. I think I am going to have to do some physio.
Have a good week everyone.

My thoughts are with everyone in Orlando, and for you too, Jamirblaze.

I'm still a bit out of it after the busy/active weekend. I developed a migraine after dinner, but fortunately an hour or so on the couch with the icepack took care of it. I think it was from exhaustion. I should have stopped in a parking lot in Warrenton on the way home and taken a nap before continuing the drive.

I got my usual walk in this morning, and have my healthy rations packed. I head home at noon to be there for the cleaners - I'm fortunate I can work from home.

I hope everyone's day goes well.

Good morning. I live and work in the Orlando metro area. All of my closest friends and family are safe, but I dread each release of names. My best friend is gay, and I do a lot of work with the community through my job. I've been to clubs like Pulse many, many times. This hits too, too close.

Whole 30 day 30 was yesterday. I'll post more, probably through a blog, soon.

Care and positive thoughts to all.

Good morning. I had my usual slow weekend, not many steps. As a retiree, I try to avoid stores on weekends, but I did buy a few things for the condo office. I'll go over this morning to hand it all over. Today is the day the management company officially gives us a new property manager, so it will be a busy week.

After a really hot weekend, it's 60 degrees out there now. I turned off the a/c last night and opened the windows, and the house is downright chilly. Hubby is still asleep. He turns out the lights an hour before I go to bed these days, and sleeps a couple of hours longer in the morning, then naps once or twice during the day. His walking is so labored and slow now, it exhausts him.

I have to get to Costco today. The Costco American Express website vanishes at midnight Sunday night, so I have to be sure that any Costco charges get from "pending" to "charged" before then so I can pay it off. I figure that tomorrow is the last day I can use the card, so it's the last Costco day until next week when I can use the new Costco Visa.

The events in Orlando are horrifying, it's hard to wrap my mind around.

Himself and I hiked out to our Enchanted Forest yesterday. It's been flooded for a month - highly unusual, once the trees leaf out - but we really have had that much rain. The middle path was completely dry but the huge shallow pools to the east and west were heaven for dogs. We didn't stop to play with them, though, because of the mosquitoes. Bzzzzz Bzzzzzz.

Still - I had not realized how hungry my soul was for my healing place. I've been pretty down in the dumps for a long time but 2 miles in White Oak Swamp and I was 85% better. I will never go so long without making that trek again. I have good high fisherman's boots. I can slosh in puddles. That place has been easing my heart for decades. How could I have forgotten.

Monday! Yikes! Monday! oh .. but wait! It's strength training day. Yippee.

Hearts and love, prayers and sober reflection for the victims in Orlando.

Mmmm...Toni, I'm with you! Just finished not one, but TWO cups of coffee, and should be raring to go! Maree, sounds like you had such a great weekend!

Phebess, I just peaked back at the last post of the day yesterday, and had to grin at your truffle workshop! Just goes with those chocolate hands! Truffles are such a treat, I'm with you on that one!

Had a good weekend, although my intestines were all in a knot. Not sure exactly what's going on, but went to bed around 4pm and slept for a solid two hours! Woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck, but the worst of the pain was gone. Scrapped supper, and just had a cup of tea. Still not 100% this morning, but much better. Hopefully things get back to normal today, as it's another busy week...or three!

Have a wonderful week team!

Hi there and good morning!

I had a restful and semi-active weekend and am now ready to start the week. But first I will get one more paddle in at 7 with my friend who has to start her work day early. I love getting to the dock on a boat less lake. So pretty and calm.

I am delighting in all the fresh fruit and veggies available now. It's so easy to eat 'whole' in summer, that's for sure.

Top of the day to all of you. Let's get out there and make it a good one! But first, coffee... emoticon emoticon

Good morning!

What a full day yesterday! DD often wants to leave by noon on Sunday but now that she has a new position, she announced she would be staying the entire day. So we took the houseboat up to our favorite sandbar and had a glorious day as friends arrived, some of whom we hadn't seen since last fall. We got home around 7:45. A very full weekend!

I'm looking forward to DH joining me at Crossfit this morning. He has taken a lot of time off, but promised he would return today. Everyone has been asking about him. So I hope it goes well.

Heat wave here too. Happy to get back to my nutrition routine. I feel so much better when I follow my lean whole foods routine.

Hope all have a great day!
